Always get the Geek Squad protection when you can. It's reasonable and the Fullerton Geek Squad is very professional and does a great job.

This watch does it’s job but can be improved upon. Had my son fly unaccompanied and this watch worked when he landed. He’s able to call me and text the little emojis. However the watch dies fast, I give it a school day before it needs to be charged. The location may sometimes lag as well but it’s a good started communication device for kids.

I always buy the warranty on every product I buy from Best Buy. If it wears out after manufactors warranty a person is covered under Best Buy warranty.

I no longer have this watch because I upgraded to the Samsung Active 2 but it was a great first watch.
