Who wouldn't to get a warranty on this you're paying a huge price already might as well get the warranty and save yourself from spending more money to get it fixed or replace.

If you are having problems these are the giys to come to. My local one has great people and a great experience.

If you think you don't need it, you do. Life got the last oculus water damaged... was a headache until I remembered I had bought the accidental damage protection and geek squad was super helpful with replacing it!

I had a great experience making an appointment with Geek Squad at Best Buy to fix my Oculus 2. My son had accidentally broken a controller, and I needed assistance. The technician who helped me was not only very nice but also incredibly helpful. However, they couldn't replace the controller, so I ended up getting a refund for the Oculus 2. With the refund in hand, I decided to upgrade to the Oculus 3. The transition was smooth, and the Geek Squad team was supportive throughout the process. Their excellent service made it easy for me to make the switch. Now, I'm enjoying my new Oculus 3 and its enhanced features. Thanks to the Geek Squad at Best Buy for their outstanding assistance!

I would suggest getting warranties on all electronics especiall with kids, so you can easily replace them. This makes it really easy.

Im also glad that i purchased the protection plan offered and feel very confident that Bestbuy stands behind their word

I recently ordered and am waiting to receive the oculus quest 2 (256 g) and decided to get the $90 protection plan. I called Geek Squad twice to make sure this plan covers accidental damage and they assured me it does! I plan on swapping out my device for a shiny new one toward the end of my two year protection if the battery life had depleted over time. The model for the protection plan shows 2 YR GSP- R VR 350-399. However, when I called geek squad, they said it showed 2 YR ADH 350-399 GSP-R. They are both the same thing and both cover accidental damage (like drops) for the VR set. This way I can have peace of mind!

Excellent service, my tv was showing a weird line down the middle. They replaced it in no time. Easy process and great customer service!

Upon clarification definitely worth purchasing if you have a R in the house wjth younher children

I have used accidental protection for other products in the past and Best Buy has always been great with replacing products
