Geek squad has always been fair and not overtly time consuming. While with appliances and other small household items I would say they are excellent, I would reserve judgement about gaming consoles and the like. Simply because the Geek Squad cannot and does not replair your Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or any other gaming system. If they did it would completely invalidate any protections of manufacturers, (understand?) They are simply going to replace or be middleman to the company (Microsoft, Sony etc) which can in some cases make your repair time MUCH LONGER. I'd advise you to check with the Gaming company that makes your system because most times they offer a cheaper and longer service plan, which in my experiences with Microsoft amounted to 3yr warranties, and if you're a die hard Xbox person like me then you know the Red Ring of Death would make that 3yr invaluable. BUT I MUST ASSERT. YOU HAVE TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER TO PURCHASE THEIR WARRANTY IMMEDIATELY OR YOU LOSE THE OPPORTUNITY. Don't throw your $500 console out the window because you wanted to test the system for a week... Because that unregistered week will CANCEL your eligibility to enroll. Most companies will honor a refund if after how ever many days you have the system, you decide to return it. Enroll before you plug that power cord in... So when your mom or girlfriend spills hot chocolate on your surge protector (By accident or on purpose, /s) you have the ability to file a claim for free or reduced cost replacement! ((And don't waste time pondering why she would have hot chocolate near your surge protector, after you have spent 4 days ignoring her/him because you're engulfed in the most epic match ever! That sentence should take 2 seconds to realize this is a real reason to get the protection from BB or the manufacturer)). Happy gaming!

I love this console. I wasn't sure how much better it could get than the Xbox One X but this has it beat somehow. I'm glad I was lucky enough to secure the preorder and have my console on launch day. It's unfortunate that not everybody had a chance with all the bots buying them in bulk and reselling for an excessive amount but it seems that Best Buy has somewhat gotten better about their bot protection on subsequent releases. I hope everybody that wants this console is able to get one for retail price. It is definitely worth it!

The Series X doesn't fall short at all. People talked about lack of unique titles at launch. The Xbox is where I spent the majority of my time because not only does it play every xbox one, xbox 360, and original Xbox game that the previous Xbox played but it has enhanced Xbox one X titles unlocking faster frame rates and resolutions and maybe other enhancements. I own the competition and I assure you it doesn't do the same. But there are indeed Fully upgraded Series X games like Assassins Creed Valhalla which when set to the graphics quality setting looks almost photographic. There are a number of others. Looking forward to the future. Also the simple rectangle design is compact and the cooling is super quiet. I have never heard the drive or the fan make any noise. Also it has a very handy slot where an upgrade external NVME 1TB hard drive can be plugged in to double your place for people like me who install a lot of stuff.. I also plugged in my 1TB USB SSD from the Xbox One X and it detected all of the games and surprise they all worked and some triggered massive downloads to upgrade them to Series X capabilities.

Never had a issue with any geek squad plan I’ve had

I was in class for almost 4 hours starting from 8-12 (pacific) and I remembered. Today's launch day for pre orders and I just went on best buy and ordered one only having to try for 5 minutes till I got one in my cart. Sorry for everyone who's frustrated and didn't get what they want but mine was as simple as that. P.S. switching from PS4 to Xbox because now Xbox is on top.

Awesome console, incredible picture if your tv is up to par. Have had xbox’s my whole life and look forward to some gaming over Christmas time. Came with everything to get started. Due to size of games now, I recommend just springing for internal hard drive right away unless you do not play a large variety. Can use external hard drive for Xbox one games, but not the new gen games, those must be internally saved.

I have used the geek squad warranty on several items over the past 20 years and all the issues were resolved with no hassle and no fuss. I would highly recommend getting the extra protection especially on electronics Things just are not made like they used to be.

Happy to have this just in case. Haven’t needed to use it yet, but still thankful.

I highly recommend getting Geek Squad for the xbox. The HDMI port on previous xbox broke a few times. It’s the achilles heel of this gaming device. I spent a bunch of money trying to get it fixed and now i have to get a new one altogether. Ugh. Unfortunately, i got the first xbox directly from Microsoft, so no Geek squad to help. This time, i am doing things differently.

Geek Squad give great serivce and prices for what they offer

They are very professional and polite and their customer service is smooth as they come I give these guys a 5 star rating because of how polite and professional this team is.

Basically if you own a PlayStation 5 you play the game then turn off the console. There is nothing else to do. With the Xbox you can spend hours and hours of entertainment. Xbox is better than PlayStation no contest. Have a good day.

Great console works amazing and looks pretty good too

I just bought the Xbox series x and the playstation 5 and have been trying to set up remote play for days on the playstation and Xbox both the Xbox is excellent and easy and the playstation sucks I'm at the point where I'm going to return the playstation because it's so horrible but the Xbox is awesome and is easy to setup

I was able to vuy one thanks to people i have subscribed to on Twitter such as Wario64. What surprised me is that Best Buy has a verification system and will actuslly hold your console for you for a bit. I love the Xbox SX! It is powerful and keeps a huge selection of ganes from before via backward compatibility, download, gamepass, etc.

I highly recommend the coverage plan if you get anything expensive. My xbox 1 died with literally a month left on the 2 year plan. They completely replaced it for free nor was there any run around! This is a must have for a high ticket item! Why take the risk when this really isn't that expensive...
