don't get stuck with a faulty product. With the protection you always have a clear mind you can fix or replace your item. I suggest two years or more that way you can upgrade at a later date.

This was a gift for a grandchild and she loves it! Plays it all the time. The only downside is you have to join the Microsoft game club so you can download games and it is an additional cost.
