I rarely buy the protection plan, but I've done it from time to time. I decided to purchase it for my new PlayStation 5 because I'd seen some reviews online of the PS5's fans going off like crazy. I bought the protection from Geek Squad b/c in the past when I've purchased it and actually used it, they're fantastic about the return and replacement. No hassles. They stand behind it 100%. So while you may not ever need it, it comes in handy when you do.

I've used this plan before a long time ago when my X-box 360 fail and I was able to get it replaced with no issues, so it was a no brainer to get this for my PS5 just in case. With all of the hardware issues and software updates these days you never when an issue will brick your console.

Everything is easy to understand and set up, they will answer any questin quickly.

bought as a peace of mind protection if anything went wrong with my playstation 5 which was helpful since mine did not work right out of the box went back to the store and switch all is good now.

I am a firm believer in buying the geek squad protection with every product they offer protection on! I bought the geek squad protection plan on a keyless entry system i had bought when i was living in Virginia and had the geek squad install it. About 1 month later I moved to Houston TX and started having problems with the system. I took my car to a local Best Buy and the geek squad fixed my car with no problem. I was very surprised! I was halfway across the country and that didn't matter. They fixed it anyway! For this reason I will always buy protection through the geek squad!

Sony has done it again. Its fast, loads like nothing. Add ons on the fly and did you know the controller has a mic and speaker? Neither did I. The Hepatic Feedback makes the DualShock seem like 8 bit Nintendo. PS4 controllers work on it and react just not as cool. Love this thing and recommend you get one. The one issue, is NO MEMORY, think about an extended SSD drive day one. Especially if you get the digital one.
