It's super worth it for cameras. They cover drops and clean the camera once per year. Just get an open box and slap this warranty and you're set in terms of camera protection.

Glad I haven't had to use this, but bought it with my Sony camera to ensure it can be repaired if accidental damage occurs. It's reasonably priced, and especially if you depend on your camera for income, you don't want to be shelling out for repairs if something comes up.

I haven't used it but the only time I ever needed to get an item fixed by Best Buy they couldn't fix it so instead they returned my money for the item and what I had paid for the insurance (because it was still under manufacturers warranty)

It's a good starter camera. Get good pictures on a budget.

I have purchased Geek Squad protection in the past for computers, printers, iPad and cameras and have found it to be good protection for expensive products. If they cannot fix it, they replace it without any argument which is great.

Best buy has the best protection plan and keeps me buying all appliances and electronics with them. If they can fix they replace no questions asked. Can't get better than that.

So far so good. The geek squad service warrantee seems like it'll be as excellent as going direct to sony.

I have not used my geek squad warranty yet but just knowing I have it I'm comfortable knowing they are there when needed. Especially because accidents happen and I would rather pay for a warranty than a whole new product.

I bought a 4 year protection because I want this product to last as long as possible and as a safety net for when my care isn't enough to sidetrack Murphy's law.
