    I just think it's a waste of money to buy geek squad protection. If you're careful enough on all the products or gadgets then you dont need this one.

    it is to costly for the verizon phone & very poor service to get back up and running it is a major waste of money

    I wish they gave a follow up call after purchase to help if needed. I’m unsure what exactly I paid for on this.

    R5, R6mk2, or R5mk2? This review is for you!

    This review is more geared to the people debating the R5, R6mk2, or waiting for the R5mk2. I was using the R7, which is a fantastic wildlife body. However, I was ready to move up and get a more versatile full frame camera. I do not like buying brand new when there is a wait list and prices are inflated, so that eliminated the R5mk2 for now. The 200mm-800mm has been out for 3 months and there is still a wait list, so I can’t imagine the highly anticipated R5mk2. So now it’s between the R6mk2 and R5. After hours of research, which one did I get? I got both and love them both equally. The R6mk2 is the perfect travel companion. It does everything very well. For wildlife it is great and the AF is the best in the market. It sticks to the subject and does not bounce around. It also transitions to a great landscape, portrait, and light video camera. 24mps is enough for most cases, especially if you are close. Also, the camera is fantastic in low light. Then there is the R5, which is almost the same price as the R6mk2 now. I remember when I got my first high definition TV back in the day. There wasn’t even HD cable out then, so there was nothing to watch except the demo channels. When it was hooked up and turned on, my mind was blown. There was so much detail and color, you could see the pores on people’s faces. It was the same feeling I got when shooting with the R5. The images are incredible. I took a picture of a small bird and you could see the dirt grains on its bill. The 45mps are a huge upgrade and don’t overwhelm your PC as long as you have decent specs. It does have a cf express card slot, but I have yet to use it and I just use the sd card slot. The ergonomics are a little dated, and the AF is definitely due for an upgrade. However, once the AF sticks it stays on unlike the R7. AF is not as good as the R6mk2 and the difference is very noticeable. Despite the issues, the pictures are amazing; just like watching HD for the first time. In the end, I bought this exact kit with the 24-105mm. For the expected price of the R5mk2 I got an amazing camera and incredible lens. I have zero regrets. As for R6mk2 and R5, I’m not sure which I like more and if I only had one I’d be happy. Both will be used regularly and it depends really on what you shoot. For landscapes and portraits I like the R5 more with its picture quality and detail. AF is not really needed for these types of photos but IQ is. For wildlife and lowlight I like the R6mk2 more. The AF is incredible and it handles noise with ease. Plus the ergonomics are perfect so making adjustments on the fly is easy which is important with wildlife, especially birds. Hope this helps!

    Use your camera outdoors, then protect it

    If you take an expensive camera on a trip, use it at a sporting event, or even let your kids use it, consider getting the protection plan. With accident coverage, it goes way beyond the normal factory warranty and covers against dropping, liquids, almost anything that might happen. If it cannot be repaired, the coverage will give you credit for what you paid towards a replacement. And you can take your camera in once a year for cleaning at no charge. They also will replace a battery 1 time at no charge. The cleaning and battery replacement will cover the cost of the plan alone.

    Easier to use than XT-20

    I own an XT-20 and wanted the T200 for its flexible and larger screen and lo and behold it delivered more than that!: this camera is much easier to use. The traditional PSAM interface is far more intuitive than the XT-20 controls, the ability to charge the battery in camera is more practical and pics transfer faster to my Mac (it seems to me) with the USB-C. I already have Fuji lenses and did not find , however, the 15-to 45 lens to be more than a backup for when I want something small and flexible, compared to my Fuji primes (16, 27 and 35). I do miss the pentaprisms of better Nikon and Canon DSLR's but the light and unobtrusive T200 and bright screen make up for that.
