    Terrible communication takes way too long

    I bought the geek squad protection for my laptop and when I needed to use it was the worst customer service experience I have ever been through. First I called and they said that they would send me a package to ship my laptop to them and once they got it they would assess it and tell me if they could fix it or if I would have to get a new one. First off it took a very long time for the package itself to come wine when I finally sent the laptop I saw it arrived on a Thursday, by the time the next Friday came(over a week later) I still hadn’t heard anything from them. I finally called them that following Tuesday and a representative told me that they got it and they assessed and I would have to get a replacement, he offered to make me an appointment in store with a representative the next day which I agreed to. When I went in store I was expecting just to pick up the same laptop but they only had laptops that were much cheaper and slower than the one I had In store so they said that they would place an order and get it sent to my house and it would be here by Monday. It is now the end of the day Monday and the laptop isn’t here. After calling geek squad again they said they had no idea what was going on and that they couldn’t help me any further, then they hung up and never called be back. It has been three weeks now since I sent my laptop in and I still don’t have a computer or any idea of when I will be getting it. This whole expedite was so angering and frustrating. I tried my best to be understanding and patient but it’s clear that their system is extremely flawed and not ready to be used. It’s not at all worth the extra 300 I paid for it to be covered. It’s much better to buy straight from the manufacturer and get whatever insure they offer because geek squad is sloppy, unorganized, and unprofessional at best.

    Had this service and the lens was scratched they wanted to mail the whole camera back and 3-4 months maybe get it back why couldn't they just return the lens ?? and they can give them the report of camera conditions

    Ordered a New Camera & Best Buy Sent Me a Used One

    I received an obviously used camera even though I ordered a new one. I can understand if a product arrives defective or damaged in transit- that kind of thing happens from time to time, but I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I can’t help but feel like I’m being scammed by Best Buy. Customer support offered to replace the camera with a new one, but could offer no explanation of what had happened. I’ve been a really loyal Best Buy customer over the years but this and a few other bad experiences are probably going to push me to just getting everything from Amazon from now on… sigh…
