Can't really say how good it is because I haven't had to use it.

It feels so light and plasticky that I felt I better get the protection.

I would recommend the replacement plan. Just keep in mind for what device they added a deductible which differs on the kind of device so make sure and weigh that

Usually don't play protection plans. But I plan to take my Switch with me a lot for opportunities to play when it arises. During the event of taking it out of my bag and outing it back in I foresee a high possibility of accidental damage in 1 or 2 years. So make sense for these type of devices.

The customer support is good but take you more time than expected even if you have a date, then the waiting time is really long for whaterver reason you have problems with your divice is 2 weeks waiting min. It was better the best buy guarantee than this

This warranty is garbage and my geek squad bent over backwards to try to fix it, but they changed the wording on the warranty and never informed me and they messed up the price when i checked out so i never got my money back that i should have. Never getting the best buy warranty again, and that was the only reason i ever shopped at best buy.

4 trips made and watch not repaired. Finally told to take it to the apple store. I called apple, they sent me a new watch and I sent them my old one. Best Buy could have done this for me. very disappointed. Must say, staff was nice

Bought the 2 year geek squad plan for my nintendo switch. But my plan ended a few days before my switch broke. Had to call best buy to ask them to extend my warranty due to the covid-19 situation. Then I could send it in for repair.

I can be clumsy at times so an insurance plan is needed.

Nice to have the extra protection for they way my luck runs

Geek squad protection, never leave the store without it.

The agents received my damaged game and i was told it would be repaired, which I knew wasn't possible. After 2 weeks i was notified of the device not being repairable and to come select a new device.

I'd rather be safe than sorry and this is the way to do it.

I never had to use the GeekSquad for my switch when I bought it. However my experience with them for my laptop was alright. Luckily didn't cost anything, but took almost a month to reinstall hardware on a laptop.
