I always buy geek squad protection!!! My son is rough with electronics and it has saved me tons of money!!! Definitely worth the cost and better protection than any other company!

The 2-year accidental Geek Squad protection plan is music to your wallet if you (or various family members) go through earbuds more often than the car gets washed! The earbuds we prefer cost between $20 and $30. With regular (daily!) use, those delicate wires just give out within 8 months to a year. With the Geek Squad protection plan, you just take the dead ones back to the store and exchange them for new ones--that's sooo much better than paying another $20 - $30 when you have several family members to buy for. Yes, we could buy cheaper 'buds, but the sound quality just isn't the same--especially for the audiophiles in the household. I don't buy protection for my personal pair because I just don't use them often enough (I've had the same pair for over 2 years), but for the rest of the family, it's a no-brainer.

One of the biggest reasons I buy at Best Buy is the replacement plan. This is especially prudent if you're buying your child their first Nintendo Switch. :) I can't imagine what I'd feel if this thing broke and I was on the hook to fix it without any help from Best Buy. I will continue to buy at Best Buy as long as they keep offering their 2 year accidental geek squad protection plans. It gives me amazing piece of mind on tech which tends to be expensive.

Bought a 2 year protector plan for my son’s Nintendo Switch. 4 months prior to the warranty expiring, the Switch had minor technical issues. While it was still operational, it started making strange noises. Made an appointment with Geek Squad. They didn’t even bother doing diagnostic testing. They just replaced it with a brand new system! Best warranty EVER!

Each visit i have had with Geek Squad has been great. Very knowledgeable and quick responses.

If you have kids, I definitely recommend the warranty. While I was checking out, I was hesitant, but the person behind the checkout informed me that it covers controllers too and we have already had a few occasions where controllers have gone flying while we have been playing games on the Switch.

Really fun to play with the family, we’ve played a ton of classics and just a lot of Mario kart. The display has more color than the older Nintendo switch and feels a lot smoother in terms of frame rate. With that being said 10/10 I absolutely recommend this for anyone wanting a different experience to spend with family

Excelente service! I’m so glad I decided to purchase this insurance for my son’s Nintendo switch! Unfortunately my son used a different charger instead of the original one. Well the system got damaged but Geek Squad took care of it!

It's a good plan and great to know that if something happens to my gaming system I'm covered.

The Geek Squad is the best! I had a wine cooler that kept sounding the alarm as if the door was opened. I called the Squad a couple of times to repair the item and it worked for a few months. After owning the item for over 2-years with a 3-year warranty, we encountered the same problem, so the Geek Squad informed me to return the item to the nearest store and they refunded my money in full. We purchased a new wine cooler but a different brand. Thanks!

I rest easy with the purchase of a kids handheld. I haven't needed to use the service, but it's a huge relief to know that I have help if needed. I've utilized geek squad in the past, and will regularly utilize their service with Best Buy purchaces.
