    I had a Nintendo switch and it was broken by the screen inside where the controls slide in which made my controls slide off all the time. I went in multiple times and all they said was I needed new controls and would order me some. The last time I went in I never receive the controls they said they would order for the second time. I kept explaining to them that it was a chipped piece and please replace device and they said they needed to see the device actually broken. I gave up and never used my switch again spent extra money for coverage that was not helpful. The Greek squad did not cover me and they did not want to help. San Marcos, CA

    I never had to use the GeekSquad for my switch when I bought it. However my experience with them for my laptop was alright. Luckily didn't cost anything, but took almost a month to reinstall hardware on a laptop.

    Not being allowed to make an appointment via phone

    I have a cracked screen since the middle of last month. It's because when I called what was supposed to be the local store number someone from somewhere else picks up and makes an appointment for me to come to my local store then neglects to tell me it'll cost somewhere around $70 for a warrenty covered repair or replacement. I find out the day of the appointment via a call from my local store and now here at the first of the next month when a may have all the money to cover whatever fees I try calling to make an appointment and can't get passed all the automated responses to talk to a person and make an appointment!

    Not worth it for Limited Edition Themed Items.

    Not worth wasting your money if you are getting this for a limited edition themed item. I bought this warranty for my Animal Crossing Themed Switch with the hopes and thoughts that should something were to happen too it that I'd get a replacement of the same themed switch. I was informed while trying to get my switch sent in for repairs because of the joycons not responding that there was only a 4% chance I'd get an Animal Crossing themed switch back.. And that if my switch would need replacing for any reason they would not inform me first nor give me the option to say No too a replacement if it was not the same themed switch. That I wouldn't just be forced to take what ever they gave me back. So in my opinion, the warranty for limited edition themed items is NOT worth a penny. Just send it too a game repair shop instead like I had to do.

    I got Geek Squad for my switch cause the joy cons were broken so then Geek Squad sent me joy cons tat half the buttons don't work

    I bought my Switch just under 2 years ago& added the warranty. Go thing because it overheated & I received a new one. It did that 1 month to diagnose & say it was a junk out

    First bad experience with geek squad. Bout a switch lite for my son and had tp have replaced in a 6 month period. Every item i have ever warrantied i was credited money back and was able to re purchase my geek squad protection. But not for this device. Then whats the point. Couldnt use manufacturers warranty. Was given no notices or updates. Just heres a new device. Was unpleased with this one episode. All other experiences good.

    They ordered a part, and since they couldnt find the part (nintendo switch joycon) they closed the service order. Told me to go back to store to open a new request. Then part still couldnt be fulfilled so they closed the order...endless cycle here. All the while no one is reaching out to me; I'm contacting them in the meantime... I asked for the local store also, Phone agent Mell refused to do that or get me to a supervisor.

    Geek Squad didnt send me my controllers

    Nintendo Switch controllers didnt work upon opening. Was advised by in store Geek Squad member to contact customer service online or by phone. Contacted Geek Squad by phone and mailed the controllers in, after 2 weeks contacted customer service again and was told to allow an additional 7-10 business days for delivery. This happened back in November. I eventually bought more controllers since the system was useless withouth them. To this day i have not recieved my replacement controllers.
