our gaming consoles, as great as they are, unfortunately do not last as long as their ancient predecessors... make the investment. you don't want to be the one to lose your $300 hardware because of a power surge or an unexpected blackout...

I have bought the Geek Squad Protection a few times for different devices but I haven't actually had to use it thankfully. The last time I bought this protection I actually wish that I hadn't. It was for my nintendo switch. I received a broken model from the store, so I had to exchange it for a working one. They told me that if I got a broken one again, I would not be able to exchange it even though it was broken from the start. To avoid potentially losing a few hundred dollars, they said to get the insurance because this was the only way to ensure that I could have the option to exchange it if that happened again. I take care of my things pretty well, so I was a little frustrated to have to get this because of the risk of receiving a defective model out of the box.

I would definitely recommend this with any purchase of electronics. Accidents happen and by having the reassurance that my items can be replace definitely eases my mind tremendously.

I don't tend to purchase extended warranties, but anytime I purchase something expensive and electronic for my kids I buy it "just in case". And it always comes in handy....only took a few weeks to use it this time....haha!

I like my refrigerator so much I'd recommend it for anyone

Always get a protection plan. It's a must, and less hassle than going through the manufacturer

Every year I keep up my subscription to Geek Squad so that if and when I have a problem throughout the year, I have a quick go to solution. End up always using them at least once every year.

I bought a JBL Xtreme 2 and when I returned to get it fixed they just gave me a brand new one so if they can’t fix the part they’ll just get you a new one or reimburse you

Always get the insurance. I have used them a few times and they are great. Things get done right and if it can't get fixed I get a brand new one.

We haven't needed to use the Geek Squad service, but it appears to be worth the money if we do end up needing it.

Its a great device! Nintendo made a great product!

I brought this switch for my daughter, she loves it! I haven’t noticed any issues with it and I plan on buying more in the future.
