I want to start out saying I am my Best Buy elite member not sure if this great to be, didn't help me. But anyway I purchase the Greek Squad Protection plan on my lap top a year ago. Brought my lap top to Greek Squad they didn't listen to what I said was wrong. My daughter had step on the cord getting out of the car and apparently bend the end piece of cord. Right away that was the probably not listening to any thing else. Shipped the lap top off replacing battery and cord and that's it Never checking the laptop completely. I got it back, still same problem. I took it back cause laptop was still doing what we try to tell Geek Squad, laptop hesitate when first turned on shutting off when you move screen to screen and sometime you get logged out and have to restart/log in again They told me it was Micro soft problem and I would have to pay $200.00 for them to look at it not fix it. That would be additional charge. Now my question is Why did I buy a protection plan at time of sale only to find out you could of used factory warranty on the laptop. Look's as if my 100.00 bucks went down the drain. So you might want to think about what/when to purchase a protection I wasted my money and still stuck with the lap top I thought was protected. Never again Wonder how it works with other products I purchase a plan on Hope I never have to find out. Just beware
