My laptop needed repair, there was no charge. Well eorth it.

DO NOT get best buy protection! I would actually advise to NOT even make a purchase at best buy. I spent nearly $4000 for a tv, a laptop, and protection for both. There is damage on the laptop that I did not notice until some time after the return window. I went in last week and was offered a smaller screened laptop due to the price of the more comparable one costing more. I cannot wait for repair as I’m in school now, I offered to come back when they had another sale on the other laptop. This week was a la or day sale. I went in to exchange it, as that’s what offered less than 7 days prior. They refused to exchange it. Told me to come back during school break around Christmas. This coverage alone was $795, and I have wasted so much time and dealt with disgusting behavior from a store rep who did everything to refuse exchanging my laptop. I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING ELSE from best buy!

My laptop charger stopped working and its supposed to be covered by this protection plan. When I called, I got transferred to a sales rep who apparently though I didn't know how to use an online shopping tool and that's why I called. After I reiterated that I had called to get my charger replaced, I was placed on another hold and then after another 15 minutes of waiting, the call was disconnected. This was also my second attempt to get through to an agent. I also tried using their call back tool, but only ever received an automated call that told me they hadn't been able to get to me when they said they would. Maybe this works when you can go into the stores, but I've received no actual help or coverage now that I can't get into a store due to covid. Don't bother buying protection from BestBuy, they're not going to cover you when you need it.

Nice to have peace of mind in case of accidental damage.

I always buy a warranty for a laptop. It only takes one drop or spill!

This service is essential if you have an expensive computer.

Agents are knowledgeable, proficient and very helpful.

Thus protection is a must on electronics, cheap insurance.
