Ok but necessary

Repairs are a hassle

Some people may benefit from going into the store to drop a product off and then picking it up when it is is fixed. As for me, I would just as soon mail it in, a service that Best Buy offers but that I didn't know about during the ordeal of getting my laptop repaired, which took about a month. As for the repair itself, they did half of what I requested, the other half they didn't address at all, and now my camera switch doesn't work. One thing I learned after it was too late to return the plan is that even though I purchased my laptop at Best Buy, I could have bought a plan through HP. I mean, the moment you turn on a new computer you get lots of offers by HP to buy one of their plans. Oh well, I learned my lesson.

Horrible service

I was on hold for 30mins Until I was able to talk to a rep at geek squad. Told him what I needed, He transferred me to another department, after talking to that department for 30mins he said he needed to transfer me back to geek squad. Was I hold for another 30mins just to have someone hang up on me. Didn’t get anything resolved.

It's useless.

I bought an ASUS Chromebook when I returned it. My insurance "that I paid for" should not have been used for something that was bad when I got it. They would not switch the policy to the ASUS. I don't like wasting money, and dealing with your store policies is a waste of both time and money.

Asus z13 just nothing but bad experiences

Tried to charge and the charge port is bad. Didn’t bother to test before handing back to me. Trying to sell on eBay as they won’t refund my money for unit. Just an unpleasant experience and a promise that was barely kept. The more time wasted the less the item will be worth when eventually listed on eBay.

Absolutely the WORST

I had such a fight with fixing my laptop, and then they credit you back the price of the laptop at the time, as opposed to replacing it with the same or similar equipment. So if the one you bought a month ago is now higher priced, you're out more money. What a cruddy warranty! Do better, Best Buy!

Its an ok laptop. battery life is not good

Absurd timeframe, misdiagnosis, not worth the mone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Why did I pay out the nose for this protection if my laptop is to be misdiagnosed and I'm told I have to send it out for 4-6 weeks to be fixed. 4-6 weeks is an absolutely ridiculous timeframe, if I could go without my laptop that long then I wouldn't even bother getting fixed. Everyone is nice but 4-6 weeks is absurd especially when it is both less than 6 months old and I have purchased the extended warranty
