    I have not used my geek squad protection my laptop was stolen. It's unfortunate that theft isn't covered or even offered.

    I took my Chromebook in because it quit working and it would not charge. I was ignored and told that I had to buy the $199.00 the Geek Squad Service Contract to be helped! Talked to Geek Squad person out on the floor and said if I had an extended warranty they send it to their repair shop and they would repair it or send me a new Chromebook. We went back to the Geek Squad and he talked to one of the Geek Squad and told him to help me with a Repair order and he kept saying to hold on for a few minutes while he helped another customer and eventually I left when he said I needed to make an appointment, for a Repair Ticket! That was bad Customer Service in my book!!! I won’t go back to the South Wadsworth store!

    not always the best protection. had a difficult time trying to get a laptop replaced after multiple visits.

    3 yrs geek squad protection

    Bought the 3 yrs geek protection for the laptop that just not working properly and we ended up returned the laptop. But they won't let you get the credit for the $69.99 protection plan. And after argued a lot with different customer serv. finally got it back, only with gift merchandise... so dissapointed :(

    Not was it, i was having problems and they said they could not fix. Wanted to come out to fix, but would charge me $50.00

    My plan expired four days ago, and Best Buy would not honor the fact that I paid $260 for it and didn't make a single claim in the two years I had coverage or even offer a discounted repair service.

    I bought the plan for our printers and small electronics as those always seem to break and have had amazing support from Best Buy. That's why I got it for the laptop I bought and have had NOTHING but problems with it (it has been in 5 times for the same thing in less then a year) and they talked me into the software protection ( another pricey plan) because they said it was software issues and they still have not gotten it fixed! You can get insurance on a laptop cheaper with your homeowner's insurance and it can last much longer!

    I wish they would reduce the coverage protect plans. It is too expensive. However, Best Buy protection plan are very good.

    I’ve seen really amazing warranties, and I’ve seen terrible ones. This warranty is appropriate in a lot of aspects, only because it’s on the pricey side of things. I can’t be upset, since I bought it. I guess you pay extra for the peace of mind.

    Just bought this on Christmas Eve for my daughter and it will not hold a charge at all. I even had her wait to charge it 3 different times until the battery was very low to build it up and make it stronger and it’s horrible!! She barely has anything downloaded on there.. very disappointing

    i bought a laptop online on june 18. Protection was activated june 19. I still do not have the laptop. It is supposed to be here june 29. I think the protection should start at the time of delivery, not purchase. Typical best buy games they play. I only bought yhe laptop thru them because it was a better deal than i found rlsewhere. i know its only 10 days so far but that is 10 days of coverage for a product i do not have yet.

    What's the point of paying monthly if they won't replace unless you pay in full. Might as well buy a new phone.
