Yes, I had the date wrong when this plan expired. BUT, Best Buy or GS was suppose to email me when the plan was about to expire. It expired 6 weeks ago. I go to my account to set up a repair and find out. They want to charge me $199 for a troubleshoot appointment! That's more then the plan! I wanted to extend the plan. I know its the webcam so I ask for a ball park of replacing webcam. They don't have a price list. So I have to pay $199 for them to tell me what I already know is wrong and then they can quote a price to fix. I have bought 2 laptops in 1 year from them and now I regret it.

Kinda expensive for what it covers. Only got it because it's better than not having it.

Not worth it. The pamphlet that explains coverage is not honored by the reps at Best Buy. There are a lot of loop holes on their part. Not hating on the company. Just hating on the geek squad service itself. Make it better, guys!

Typical extended warranty protection. I haven't had to use it yet.

We sent our Chromebook out to be repaired, but they sent it back not working, and missing screws. We sent it out a second time and they fixed it. The third time we tried to have it fixed, they said there was nothing wrong with the computer. We finally got them to take the computer to fix it and now they are saying that it is not covered by the protection plan, even though it does not expire until July of 2025. I am very disappointed with this service and would not recommend it.

Did they best to help me with my problem, even after my mother board got changed.

I should be calling them as the computer seems a bit slow but I haven't call so I cannot give them a rating.

We bought this to add to my daughter's laptop as a just in case. Kind of pricey, but worth it if it's needed.

Went to get my laptop repaired, and was informed that my warranty expired! It would have been nice to receive a letter or a reminder that my warranty will expire soon!! Very angry I will never step foot in any of the Best Buy store ever again and I would spread the word ! Maybe in the future you could do something to help people that have too much on their plate and can’t remember everything and maybe I will change my mind and return.
