    They usually never help me with nothing. Last time they said my macbook digital board was broken and will cost me $1,125 for the fix and guess what? I didn't go thru with the fix and went home and two days later my computer turn on and is still working fine.

    Took device in after just having recently purchased due to what appears to be an operating system problem. Geek squad couldn't identify and wants to charge me for a thorough troubleshoot. All they did was turn it on and guess at what could be wrong. Don't fall for there coverage plans. There deceptive and overall full of bleepbleepbleep!!!! Beware!!!!

    Haven’t had the need to use just yet but - the added protection is for assurance especially since I’m non- tech savvy !

    Very disappointed! I bought this protection plan on three different laptops and the first time I need to use it I want to send my laptop away to Kentucky for two weeks and I will lose my job over it because I work from home I need my laptop. It has a manufactures defect but yet they’re still not willing to replace it!

    Geek Squad damaged my laptop.

    Sent in my laptop for a couple of repairs, hinges and speakers specifically. Right speaker is still much lower than the left, and hinges have a bunch of dents and scrapes. While one of the problems was fixed, the rest are still present.

    Don't waste your money with Bestbuy Ext. Warranty!

    Was told when I purchased 1yr extended warranty, that I would be covered for 1yr from Manufacture, then 1yr from BestBuy, but when it stopped working 14 months later, Best Buy said no the warranty from BestBuy was only good for the 1st year at the same time as the manufacture. Never again will I trust BestBuy!!!

    Its all a trick , i paid over 400 for a 2600 laptop and all they tell you when something malfunctions is here is your store credit we can not give you money back so you end up stuck with thousands you dont need or want in store credit …. Disappointed

    Geek Squad has been useless in their communication with the replacement of my defective PC. As I write this, I am at just about 2 hours on hold to speak with a rep as their online chat was useless. My small business was at a standstill thanks to BB and their Geek Squad.

    Only worked for a little while not very happy with it. The reviews I read were great I got it and it worked good and a couple game updates and it keeps freezing.

    If I could give zero stars, I would. I sent my laptop in for a cracked screen, when it came back the internet card was damaged. It went out again for repair and came back with 2 more issues that it didn't have to begin with. When I brought it home, it was fine. REALLY!!!!!!!

    They repaired 2 laptops for me at different times. Both machines constantly frooze, When I took them back, even though this was a result of them fixing the screen counted toward my protection plan.

    If u skip or forget to pay a year then it's voided. Most computers don't have problems untill year 3-5.

    Tried to get a power cord replaced waited for 4 hours & 2 hours on hold and was hung up on both times. They sent me the wrong power cord and Best Buy would not replace the cord at the store. They insisted I go through Geek Squad to get a replacement. Poor customer service and yet again Best buy does not stand behind their vendors, products, and fix there mistakes. I had to buy the cord on my own.

    I had my laptop screen crack nothing here happened and they nor the manufacturer covers anything. Don't waste your money, it's a waste when I was told it would help if dropped by cashier etc.

      Hello Hannah – An Accidental Geek Squad Protection Plan should cover a scree crack, unless the crack occurred outside of the normal use of the computer. Please head on over to www.geeksquad.com/schedule to set up a time to bring the computer in to your local Geek Squad to go over the details of what happened, and see if your computer is still covered.

    A simple issue associated with editing videos could not be answered via chat or phone call. I was extremely successful via YouTube

      Hello, when it comes to working with outside applications and websites like YouTube we strongly advise our customers to reach out to them directly. While our Geek Squad agents are very knowledgeable, there are questions and procedures that are to be handled by people who work within said organization. They are better suited and trained in certain procedures, policies, and the likes. ^Dave

    The hard drive was the only thing they replaced, and it didnt work but the wait there is forever so i didnt come back
