Purchase at your own discretion The best way I can describe Geek Squad is non specialized. It's like bringing your car to a place like firestone for service instead of the dealership. Can they work on your device, sure. But will they be able to repair it effectively, that's up for debate. Small repairs here and there shouldn't be an issue, but any specific specialized repairs are better off sent to the manufacturer. Keep in mind that Geek Squad works on everything and anything electronic. Laptops, tablets, phones, PCs, TVs, what-have-you. So they won't know your product as well as the manufacturer does.

Computer works well. The power cord keeps disconnecting from the power pack.

Very disappointed that best buy clearly shows an image of the laptop having a fingerprint reader but it clearly does not have one. This was a major reason for me buying this one over another one that I had looked at. Otherwise the laptop works fine. Trackpad is somewhat cheap feeling. Overall satisfied with the laptop less 1 star for the trackpad and another for the product being mis-represented by best buy. Product should be taken down from the site until the images provide an accurate representation of the product you are buying.

Excellent program. Return policy on defective items or broken ones...no questions asked policy. Returns are easy and if item out of stock,refund is done and aloud to purchase another item at price or above and aloud to pay difference of new item.

I got this to protect my son’s laptop. It stopped working in the 2nd year and took it in to Geek Squad. They tried repairing it. Then when it was damaged, we got back money towards buying a replacement.

This laptop had 2 things I wanted, a touch screen and 17 inches. I need the large screen because as I have gotten older it is harder to see a small screen. On the other hand I may return this computer because with the silver keyboard I can't see the letters very well and it bothers me.

I'm using this laptop for personal use. It has a good capacity for my information and the quality is good.

Geek squad warranty isn’t a good thing to buy.. I Paid $2,000 for my LG tv and within a year it started to have issues..I bought a $300 warranty from geeksquad and couldn’t get ahold of anyone and when I did they made a appointment to come out and nobody came out.I lost a days work pay and then I had to contact LG cause I still was under the 1 year manufacturer warranty thank god.. LG sent someone out and Geek squad didn’t help at all.I wasted $300 on a warranty.Not to mention when you get a new device it comes with a warranty automatically for a year.If you buy a product and then get a year geek squad warranty they just send back to manufacture cause it’s still under warranty..So what’s the point on there warranty? I could see a year after the manufacture warranty is done but at this point there profiting off people feeding them this BS.. If I buy a new product and it has issues within a year and I pay for a warranty I should get a new one and not have to go through hoops or have some guy opening up my new product and leaving 3 screws out of it.The feeling of paying over $500 for a device and then within a year having to have it opened up and replaced leave a uncomfortable feeling in your head.

My laptop's screen got accidentally cracked, and thanks to the Geek Squad protection plan I purchased, I got my laptop fixed at no cost at all. The Geek Squad was fast, efficient, and as promised, delivered a fully fixed laptop.

Overall solid device, wish the backlight was a bit brighter but other than that no real complaints. Super high quality, great screen resolution and supper fast. The 8gb RAM in this thing is great.

JoySystems did a great job refurbishing the lap top i purchased this week from Best Buy. I will definitely i refurbished again!
