I purchased this laptop online and received it on August 23, 2023. By September 10, 2023, the left cooling fan was making a sound similar to a paper shredder. It is more than likely a bearing going out in the fan but there is no way to verify it without taking it into a store. The nearest store for me is an hour away and while I want my computer to work, it would be easier for me to replace the fan myself. The chat support on Best Buy's website is worthless as they only were willing to start with pointing me to the online appointment scheduling dashboard and offering no other options. The parts should not be breaking within the first 30 days. If a laptop has faulty components, the device should be replaced instead of making the customer drive it an hour to get fixed.

What a piece of garbage. Once again, I tried an Asus PC and once again it's been nothing but problems. I've already had numerous issues with WIFI disconnecting and other 'gremlins'. I took this back to Geek Squad over a month ago and they 'fixed it' - there were no hardware or other issues. Right! Just this morning I had a BSOD that state Watchdog error. Look this up...go ahead it's a CPU/processor error issue. Guess the hardware was just fine huh? I will NOT buy another Asus, and I'm debating on whether to use BestBuy and Geek Squad again, normally I have great service, but I just want my money back or store credit - I can't even use this laptop - it was for work. What a waste!

I would not purchase this... After reading the reviews I wish I didn't. There is most likely better protection somewhere else.

It's better to have and not need, than to need and not have!
