I got the protection for 3 years so I wouldn't have to worry.

Most factory warranties will not cover anything other than manufacturer defect, and sometimes not even that. Geek Squad will fix your item for you, or give you a replacement at no charge. Well worth it.

The Geek Squad Protection is worth the money spend on computers. I have problems with my computer they can always fix it especially removal of virus and malware.

Geek Squad is a freaking JOKE! DO NOT spend the money for these *orons. They won't work on the laptop and don't offer any support. You will waste your money. I am now out $3,000 for the laptop that won't work and the support cost that they will not return. HORRIBLE service. Best Buy is HORRIBLE

I have used them numerous times and the package was a great deal for the issues I have had to come into the store to have fixed. When my hard drive was partitioned by mistake was the only time they did not help as much as I would have liked.
