It was not clarified to me at the time of purchase that the protection is not really extended warranty. Once you use it it is gone - single use.

Great for basic school needs and touchscreen option has been an amazing feature. If you’re needing to do heavier MICROSOFT and pdf for work or school I’d look into an actual windows operating laptop but the Chromebook serves me well for basic needs.

Great insurance against accidental breakage. I have been able to get a new computer for a much-reduced price when my computer had unrepairable damage. I was exceedingly please to have this protection. It costs a little more when purchasing the computer, but it proved to be a life-saver when the computer was damaged beyonf repair and I got a new computer almost free.

I always purchased the warranty for any laptop I purchase. I usually need to use it at least once. This time the touch screen on my computer stopped working and I was able to bring it to Geek Squad and they shipped it off and the screen was replaced free of charge. The downside is that I found it surprising that Geek Squad could not do a screen replacement in the store and would need to ship it off and I would havento wait 5-6 weeks (supposedly due to COVID) to get my laptop back.

What can you say geek squad does great things they always fix my things when I need them or tell me what I need to do to replace parts or all of it so they’re useful

I have language problems, there are good customer service employees in Spanish and that helps me a lot. And the technicians from other countries, some are patient when using Google translator, there are others who are not, these are the technicians who are in their country.

Bought this to cover the wife's computer. Just to protect her online shopping.

Had a problem with my new laptop. I took the laptop in. The tech explained I had shut down during an update and it could not complete the operation causing the unit to not turn on properly. The update was running in the background, and I was unaware the update was running. had only had the laptop for a few hours when this happened. They scheduled a Tech Appointment immediately. the appointment only took a few minutes, was totally painless. And the Tech resolved my problem right there.

Costumer service was great and easy at checkout. No hiccups.

We ALWAYS purchase an extended warranty on all of our electronics we purchase at Best Buy. Over the years we have had to use them a couple of times and the Geek Squad has been amazing! Always helpful! I highly recommend!

So I bought a laptop for the first time in a long long time. I bought this to just be on the safe side. But I was recommended to buy because it does come in handy when a repair is needed. Geek squad it self has great employees who try to help out as much as possible.

This I bought for myself. I'm handicapped and my vision is poor. I tell everyone I'm the most electronically challenged person on earth. I figured it would be in my best interest to get protection in case something goes wrong with my new laptop!!

If it works like it did the first time I will have no complaints.

I haven't needed to use it yet, but I have in the past and must say it's amazing! My first computer had some power issues and with this bundle I was able to bring in at no additional charge!

Probably the best purchase I've made from Best Buy. When my last laptop had an issue past the factory warranty date, this insurance plan got me fully reimbursed for the price, which allowed me to buy my new laptop.
