Geek squad protection plans are excellent, I have been able to bring in my item, and have a fixed item in a few days

I purchased the 3-year warranty on a laptop. The display started doing some odd things. Since it didn’t do it for them they said they weren’t sure what it was. Apparently if I had paid for their membership they would have run diagnostics for free. If there turns out to be an issue with the display or the graphics card, they do not fix it in house. They would have to ship it off and it could take weeks to get back. I should have purchased the manufacturers extended warranty instead.

I love knowing that my computer is going to be covered under any accident. Love the complete peace of mind!

I havent needed the services so far but feels great to know i have protection.

Geek squad is simple to you. I purchased a hard drive that didn't work out of the box. I simply brought it back to the store and no questions asked I was given a new one.

We actually did use the service to repair my daughter’s first laptop so we purchased the protection plan for her second laptop too.

This option was free when I bought my daughter's Chromebook for Christmas. I made sure she took advantage.

I signed up for the protection plan ($179) but shouldn’t have. When my covered laptop broke, I turned it into geek squad for repairs only for them to charge me an additional $49 to tell me they couldn’t fix it! They did give me a giftcard for the value of the laptop but between the planner and repair fee that cost me almost the same amount, so it was pretty much a wash. I am very disappointed and feel lied to about what the protection plan covers.
