Too bad it doesn't cover my cracked TracFone screen. But great job on data transfer from my old fried PC,s hard drive.

My experience with this protection was horrible. In the end, I just wrote my device off as a loss. DO NOT PURCHASE if you do not live near a Best Buy location and are positive it will not close. My nearest Best Buy location was about 2 hours away...but that one closed making the next closest location an almost 4 hour one-way trip. You MUST do repair drop-off in-person and, if they decide the device will not be repaired but exchanged for a store credit, you HAVE to return IN-PERSON to finialize thie credit..you can't do it on the phone, you can't do it via email, you can't do it online...even if you initially purchased the item online. Best Buy, please visit your policies in this matter. I've lost hours on the phone trying to work out a solution and now I've lost the price of my device and this extra protection.

Why did I pay out the nose for this protection if my laptop is to be misdiagnosed and I'm told I have to send it out for 4-6 weeks to be fixed. 4-6 weeks is an absolutely ridiculous timeframe, if I could go without my laptop that long then I wouldn't even bother getting fixed. Everyone is nice but 4-6 weeks is absurd especially when it is both less than 6 months old and I have purchased the extended warranty

So far so good. Wasn't able to get a manufacturers warranty but was able to add this. Seems like a good deal for laptops.

Still waiting to see if someone is going to show me about the protection plan and go over the details with me

battery does not stay charged long and the coloring is a bit more reddish than photo companies computers are.

If you’re tech savvy it’s not really needed. Only thing I’d say buy is warranty

I have not used my geek squad protection my laptop was stolen. It's unfortunate that theft isn't covered or even offered.

Haven't had to use it so I really can't say much about it. I don't usually get warranties but did this time.

Hope we never need to use it but decided better to have it.

I bought the plan for our printers and small electronics as those always seem to break and have had amazing support from Best Buy. That's why I got it for the laptop I bought and have had NOTHING but problems with it (it has been in 5 times for the same thing in less then a year) and they talked me into the software protection ( another pricey plan) because they said it was software issues and they still have not gotten it fixed! You can get insurance on a laptop cheaper with your homeowner's insurance and it can last much longer!

Not was it, i was having problems and they said they could not fix. Wanted to come out to fix, but would charge me $50.00

My laptop isn’t covered because the CPU that the manufacturer installed isn’t installed correctly. I have no idea how to do it. I need a working laptop

not always the best protection. had a difficult time trying to get a laptop replaced after multiple visits.
