I have a plan that covers everything. From slippage to dropping the computer. But geek squad says it doesn’t cover software? So they want to pay $105.00? So I asked where does it say software not covered. So we looked under policy and procedures and found nothing that has to do with software. And even yet the Greek Squad says software issues not covered! What a rip off. All for a laptop mouse pad!

Perfect for my college student who is out of state.

Make sure you ask questions because we were lied to by the salesperson. The manager did finally agree to replace the broken one but it took several phone calls and hours in the store to make it happen.

Geek Squad coverage has always been highly-recommended with every large Best Buy purchase of mine. I haven't had to put in a claim for this particular coverage (as of yet), but historically they have been very reliable and easy to work with.

Geek squad is legit. They'll take care of your electronics. I brought in a laptop and got an upgrade. I would suggest alwaying backing up your data.

Good plan to have. Would recommend this to have for insurance.

You never know when life throws you curve balls, It's always great to protect your investments. I haven't had to use my geek squad yet but its nice to know I have coverage.

So helpful, I always buy the protection plans and Best Buy has been great to help me. Never had an issue with them yet.

I decided a long time ago that I don't need to know HOW to work on my electronics; just hire a professional. Geek Squad is super convenient and they are always very knowledgeable. The Family Plan is the way to go to get more bang for the buck.

I had to replace my laptop 6 months after purchase. However, once my laptop was replaced, Best Buy canceled my 3 year plan, So, instead of honoring the remaining 2 1/2 years by applying it to the new replacement, if I still wanted coverage, I would have to now purchase the Totaltech plan. So, this means that if I get coverage for the new laptop, then in a 6 month span, I will have now basically purchased TWO plans for ONE laptop. This makes the Geek Squad plan worthless and costly, since the manufacturer's warranty would've covered the cost WITHOUT any additional coverage. Hopefully Best Best can make some adjustments to their replacement policy.

I was able to get my laptop replaced quickly prior to the corona virus situation got worse. I dropped my laptop less than a week after I purchased it and shattered it and I was covered immediately

The 3 year protection plan was just what I was looking for. I wanted the ease of mind and worry-free plan to go with my laptop.

Comforting to know that I have the security and expertise of a knowledgeable team as I am not very familiar with computers. I had an issue and brought my computer to the team and it was addressed quickly and problem fixed immediately.

This definitely came in handy!! Geek Squad helped me assess the damage of my device and send it out for repair. 0n 10/04/22, a young man, Nathan, provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service.

I bought this warranty just in case I need it and it looks like I need to have my microphone checked out so I'll be heading over this weekend.

Laptop has been very reliable and useful for my needs. Recommend for the folks how don’t need a lot but just enough when it comes to having a laptop.

The agents did everything when I bought my laptop for college. They still take good care of my baby as I progress towards graduation. If you spend all that money investing in your gear, why not invest in the maintenance?

So glad I purchased as I had a small battery issue and they corrected it quickly. I always purchase warranty as I like knowing I’m covered just in case.
