Bought a laptop, they sent it with OnTrac, and I was home all day waiting for the package, but no one rang the bell. I kept checking on the tracking and it said out for delivery, so I kept waiting, until midnight it still shows out for delivery, so I waited until the next day, still nothing came. I contacted customer service, they told me it was delivered yesterday and showed me a picture of the package sitting wide open on my patio stairs, go figure. 2 months later, the tracking on the site still shows out for delivery. They refused to refund, but also canceled the subscription stuff that came with the laptop, like what? Nothing I can do. Shame business, don't buy from them ever again!

The first time I got Geek protection I had a muscle spasm and spilled a little coffee on my end table...... and off onto my computer table. Dead and it was only 11 days old. Took it back and they gave me a new computer. The next time my hands were freezing after pulling a little bird out of the freezing bird bath. I picked up my computer and immediately dropped it on concrete on the corner. It crumbled. They sent it in and put a new skin on it. I wouldn’t own a computer without it. An accident is exactly what it is. A never could happen to you!!!!

Bought for daughter computer for school figured would be worth the money

So, I gave a 4 star rating because the first unit I purchased had an issue with the motherboard. Luckily, I had purchased it during the holidays so it was an easy switch for a new model. The video card works best with an external monitor using a usb-c to hdmi cable. Purchased for $1099 with the 3 year warranty.

It's worth getting just in case if anything happens within a year. I just wish the prices weren't as high. I would've gotten more years.

Geek Squad is amazing! Always attentive and knowledgeable. I don't know what I would do without them! Totally worth the money!

I absolutely love my accident policy with the Geek Squad! I have two teenage boys and accidents happen. It is wonderful to be able to drop it off and not stress about when things get broken. They have been very polite and easy to work with. For the most recent repair the service center sent it back two times with issues remaining, but the local store was great to work with and made it as pleasant as possible.

Very simple process. Staff is helpful in the trade in process.

Great customer care, Geek squad continue to inform and keep me updated about my service.

Thankfully, I have yet to need to utilize Geek Squad's amazing services yet and hopefully never will.

I purchased the geek squad protection for my dad's laptop, and although we have not used it, I purchased it for this simply reason that I have always gotten it when I bought a camera and anytime there was an issue they helped resolve it.

The one time i used their service i waited 20mins before i was acknowledged and 20mins after before a tech bgan diagnosing my machine. Thry then spent 10mins performing the same tests i described to them in person and when i booked my appointment. Then was told i have to eait 4 weeks since they cant service my machine in person. Wish there was a service center near me. Since they dont have machines they lend out while yours is being repaird, my only option to get to critical work was to purcahse a machine i can use temporarily then return it when i pick up my fixed machine (cant have it shipped home, forced to come into BestBuy)

I purchased the service to go along with anything if my granddaughter had problems with either setting up the computer or if something goes wrong I think it was something that everyone should consider when purchasing An electronic.

I haven't had to use this service yet, but the coverage seems well worth the cost. I invested a lot of money into buying a new computer. The last computer I bought (from s different store) was only a couple hundred dollars, but I hated it and it broke shortly after purchasing it. I felt a lot more confident making my computer purchase this time knowing accident coverage for 3 years would cost less than half the cost of the computer itself. I definitely value the sense of security.

This is a great Service that helps you with any troubles that you may inquire. I also have two children that get a hold of everything so I was able to get the two-year warranty on my computer and if anything goes wrong, they will repair it for me at no cost. I would highly recommend this.

Haven’t had to use this service yet… but confident that they can help when needed.

Definitely suggest getting protection on everything. My daughter had an issue with her computer and they had it fixed very quickly.
