Haven't had to use it yet hope she don't . I bought just in case of user error if repairs should be needed I'm sure a best buy will be close to her collage.

I have always purchased the warranty service plan with the Geek Squad anytime I buy anything electronic or washer, dryer, stove, freezer, refrigerator, computer and they have never let me down. They answer all my questions, fix what needs to be fixed and they are fast at getting the job done. Would not hesitate purchasing when necessary.

I mean - as long as the Geeks stay on top of your service requests especially when they have to send your device out to the manufacturer, THIS.IS. AWESOME. If you buy any tech from BB, especially high-value ones, just do it. You will not regret it. Stay on top of the Geeks - they're human so you will get mixed results when you have a service request. But the value of not having to repurchase an expensive device because you or someone else made a mistake, is priceless.

Haven’t had to use this extended warranty yet but I understand that Best Buy protection products are in another class when it comes to honoring warranties.

Like having my computer protected for decent price.

Who doesn’t like warranties in case of mishaps or theft in some cases

I got this plan for my son's laptop for college. The manufacturer does not send this laptop 100% ready out of the box. I had trouble setting it up because of the newer windows 10. I brought it in and without a question or hassle they got it ready. Very friendly and capable. Outstanding!

Awesome protection product Best Buy is offering must have

When I purchased my laptop computer from Best Buy I had alot of questions and Mr. Kyle was a very helpful and knowledged based employee who helped with with my purchase and answered all of my questions for the accidental Geek Squad Protection, I would highly recommend Best Buy in Wilson, NC and the protection plan it has been well worth it. Thank you again Best Buy! You guys are the best.

I got this for the Nintendo Switch that I got for my daughter. Considering the preponderance of cracked screens on all her electronic devices, I was happy to pay for the added protection as it is not a matter of "if" but a matter of "when" she breaks yet another of her devices. That said, we have not had to use this service (yet) but my past experience with Best Buy leads me to believe that I should not have any issues when I inevitably need to service the Switch.

Service is excellent every time I visit and that is frequently staff is always friendly and knowledgeable

I brought in a laptop with a BSOD. They talked shop very easily with me and were quite professional. They did nothing wihtout consultoing me about my case.

We've purchased these plans for a couple of laptops (used for kid's college). Also, for some home appliances. The plans are well worth it. Our local Geek Squad reps have been pretty responsive any time we've had issues. It seems stuff doesn't hold up as well as it used to, so we've gotten our money's worth from these plans.

I purchased a new laptop from Best Buy and accidental/extendeded waranty because i have purchased 4 or 5 reconditioned laptops in the past few years and was advised to do as I did and I AM STILL GOING TO HAVE TO SEND IN MY BRAND NEW DELL IN TO BE REPAIRED AND BE WITHOUT IT FOR 2 TO 3 WEEKS! I am so extremely disapointed that i am dealing with this, considering when i discussed the extra 120 dollars i payed ditectly to best buy only because i was told it would never have to be sent out! I was considering whether to purchase the dell or the geek squad becuase the guy blaitantlg lies to me about multiple aspects of this laptop! The otignial price for this machine is more than my car is worth! Im a midle aged widow single mom taking care of my husbands mom!I am not who has money to buy another laptop because it broke the bank to spend this 600 dollars on the clearance laptop! It was on clearance and open box, and originalt price being over 1100 dollars and came with no charger, which is ridiculous to tell a customer that "its an opeĺn box so if it does not come with one i had to buy one. Furthermore the keys stick from day on and now some keys do not work and it needs to be sent out to be repaired. The geek squad associate that looked at the laptop wjen i brought it to be diagnosed to however, was very nice and seemed to be compident but i am wishing i would have know this beriee any if this because i would have never .

Its always a good idea to get the protection, try to think about how youre using the product and the environment it will be in. For my mose costly electronice i always have them plugged into a ups that has automatic voltage regulation. I would like to see a better assessment of coverage options. Most just go by cost of the product, but if they really stood by quality of the items being brought in , that would provide a better scheme for coverage options.

I need help keeping my new iPhone in perfect & usable condition. The GEEK Squad has given me fantastic service on my laptops and I know they will help with any problems I may have with new iPhone. They think outside the box and have been able to fix multiple problems with my laptop. I am comfortable with paying so much for the iPhone knowing that they will help me keep it in perfect condition.

I have purchased this product twice now. As a recent graduate, I can say this is a must for any college student. I used this plan to its full extent the first time with having to have my first computer replaced during my junior year. The Geek Squad employees were beyond helpful through the entire process. I turned around and bought the product again when I received my new computer.

You purchase this with hopes that you never have to use it but sometimes you just have to. That was my case with my Surface Notebook and this protection plan was THE BEST when it came time to use it! Geek Squad went above and beyond to fix my Notebook and when they could not the protection plan did exactly what it says it will do and they replaced it with a brand new one. Doesn’t get better than that!!

Best Buy’s Geek Squad is one of the best computer repair services. They offer a variety of services including virus removal, data recovery, and hardware repair. They also offer a 24/7 support hotline for customers who need help outside of normal business hours .

I love having the support close to home. I also like that Best Buy keeps my purchase/warranty information on file.
