    They f me with 2600 in store credit and no money

    Its all a trick , i paid over 400 for a 2600 laptop and all they tell you when something malfunctions is here is your store credit we can not give you money back so you end up stuck with thousands you dont need or want in store credit …. Disappointed

    I set up an appointment to have a laptop tune up. Unfortunately I got turned away when during the check-in process. I was told the plan does not cover it. If the plan did not cover it, I should have been informed during the appointment setup and not when I was in the store already checking in.... Very disappointed....

    I was told that will take up to 3 weeks to fix a problem with the battery on my 2 months old laptop!! Never paying them again.

      Hello Alboholic – If your computer has an internal battery, it can take a bit of time to have a new one ordered in. I can sometimes take longer to find parts for brand new computers, as they aren’t as readily available as parts for computers that have been in circulation for a while. For updates on the status of your repair, please don’t hesitate to reach back out to the store where you checked it in.

    rip off doesn't cover you when they say u have to pay nothing and you get hit with all the hidden fees when you bring your product in

    Don't waste your money with Bestbuy Ext. Warranty!

    Was told when I purchased 1yr extended warranty, that I would be covered for 1yr from Manufacture, then 1yr from BestBuy, but when it stopped working 14 months later, Best Buy said no the warranty from BestBuy was only good for the 1st year at the same time as the manufacture. Never again will I trust BestBuy!!!

    Took device in after just having recently purchased due to what appears to be an operating system problem. Geek squad couldn't identify and wants to charge me for a thorough troubleshoot. All they did was turn it on and guess at what could be wrong. Don't fall for there coverage plans. There deceptive and overall full of bleepbleepbleep!!!! Beware!!!!

    No need for this . Returned a laptop because it had heating issues . We were told for the geek squad to help us we had to purchase some membership for $180 for the to help us.Very disappointed.

    Very disappointed! I bought this protection plan on three different laptops and the first time I need to use it I want to send my laptop away to Kentucky for two weeks and I will lose my job over it because I work from home I need my laptop. It has a manufactures defect but yet they’re still not willing to replace it!

    I want a replacement for my tv and the can’t get me one and the won’t get me one. Apparently I need to get another tv and pay the difference of any.

    Geek Squad damaged my laptop.

    Sent in my laptop for a couple of repairs, hinges and speakers specifically. Right speaker is still much lower than the left, and hinges have a bunch of dents and scrapes. While one of the problems was fixed, the rest are still present.

    If I could give zero stars, I would. I sent my laptop in for a cracked screen, when it came back the internet card was damaged. It went out again for repair and came back with 2 more issues that it didn't have to begin with. When I brought it home, it was fine. REALLY!!!!!!!

    Geek Squad has been useless in their communication with the replacement of my defective PC. As I write this, I am at just about 2 hours on hold to speak with a rep as their online chat was useless. My small business was at a standstill thanks to BB and their Geek Squad.

    They repaired 2 laptops for me at different times. Both machines constantly frooze, When I took them back, even though this was a result of them fixing the screen counted toward my protection plan.

    Tried to get a power cord replaced waited for 4 hours & 2 hours on hold and was hung up on both times. They sent me the wrong power cord and Best Buy would not replace the cord at the store. They insisted I go through Geek Squad to get a replacement. Poor customer service and yet again Best buy does not stand behind their vendors, products, and fix there mistakes. I had to buy the cord on my own.

    I thought my laptop was getting repaired. It was gone for 3 weeks. When it returns it was as if it had been repaired and dropped again. Ended up just getting a store credit to get another laptop. Although i really wanted my laptop

    If u skip or forget to pay a year then it's voided. Most computers don't have problems untill year 3-5.
