Haven't had to use them just yet, but they were great in the store qith helping me choose a laptop.

I had this on my laptop when I screen crack, they couldn’t fix it so the replaced my entire laptop at no extra charge.

Depending on what you buy and if you can spare the extra money, this goes a long way in case something goes wrong.

I purchased this when I purchased my laptop thinking I was covered if I needed assistance with anything. Boy was I wrong. I purchased dual screens to connect to the laptop and kept getting a "no power" message. I took the dual monitors and the laptop in to get assistance just to make sure it wasn't the laptop which I JUST purchased from them and was told I had to pay $40.00 for them to help me. Long story short, I was told that what I paid for only covered things such as the laptop not working, damaged etc. and even then, if it had to be sent out, it could take weeks to get it back. The technician still tried to help but his attitude said he didn't want to. Then he suggested that I purchase a power block with at least 40 watts, I purchased a power block at 60 watts and still have no resolution. I'm considering cancelling, it's just not worth it if I can't get simple assistance.

I need the expertice to set it up and maintain my technolgy. What good is having technology if you don,t maximize it.

I have a 4 year old son so this was a must have. I take it to them and no questions asked they just repair it.

I hope we do not need to use this but seemed like a good idea to have for a computer that was going to college. Covers everything but being stupid.

Always wonder if extended warranties are a good value. A cracked screen or one battery change and the plan pays for itself.

Have not had to use it yet, but I have had Geek Squad on other products and have not had a problems with them.

I think that for the price that I paid for Geek Squad, it is not worth it. I would prefer to have a plan that allows customers to replace items with newer items. Especially for the product a customer pays for. Overall accidental protection is great but is not really used for those who are very careful with their items
