I have had a contract with the Geek squad for several years and it was a good way to take care of an old computer, so I have kept the plan with my new one.

The benifits are really there!!! I broke my phone and I'm sure that happened but I am so happy I had insurance on it because all I had to do was to pay the deductible and I got a new phone. $50 deductible is all I had to pay for a new phone. I would never buy an electronic product without

Returned a very expensive HP Spectre. Ultra book. Within 48hours the response was a full replacement was needed. They put in an order for a replacement which has to be shipped in as the store was out of stock. definitely take out the extra protection plans. Appreciate the reasonable response time.

Very worth the extra cost. Just having the peace of mind to know if you spill something on your electronics or drop it or something and it will be replaced worth it.

Purchased for a Sony Receiver. After 6 months, the receiver would go into protect mode after 5 minutes. I dropped of the receiver for service last month. Still waiting for the repair to complete. So for an extra $55 dollars, I am not sure it is worth it as the repair time is probably no quicker than the factory warranty would be.

These always come in handy and are the reason why I love doing business with Best Buy! They can be a real life saver. I’ve had a camera go down, and Best Buy replaced it on my warranty with a brand new one and had it shipped to my house

On expensive purchases, I always supplement my manufacturer's warranty with a best buy one. They are great to have and hopefully be something you never need.

All I have not had to use this service yet, the peace of mind it provides me made it well worth the extra cost.

I truly think investing in geek squad is definitely worth it, especially is you have a lot of electronics like myself. In the past few years I have purchased a laptop, 4K TV, kindle, new Samsung phone, google nest cameras and they cover it all!

Never had an issues to need to use the protection plan but glad I have it in case I need it.
