    Lots of waiting to use it when you need it

    Worth it for major repairs but if you need something minor that would be covered it's a bit inconvenient. You have to schedule appointments weeks out to even see them for something minor then they need to hold onto your device because there's no way to pre-coordinate the parts you need with the experts before you see them. The extended waits to schedule, then for them to order parts you could of figured out at the start together makes it easier for their employees but at the expensive of the customer. Example: Laptop I purchased needed a new W key and I wanted to make sure the store had the part when I showed up because I can put the thing on myself and it would of been covered by this plan but I ended up just ordering one myself online because it was two weeks to before I could see someone at a store and they refused to talk to me about parts or the issue prior to that meeting. Then at the store I would of had to wait for them to order the specific part after waiting two weeks to see them.

    This plan is for the 3 year accidental protection. If you are most likely to have accidents with your device or if you have kids or pets that mess around a lot. I would recommend this. Other wise if you keep your things safe or don't use it don't often, I would say you won't need this plan.

    Geek squad fixed my keyboard

    I’ve only had to use this once, because a key was missing off a chrome book. They took it and shipped it off and replaced the whole keyboard and shipped it back to the store. I just had to go a few days without the Chrome book.

    Apple products aren’t cheap to begin with, and if an accident happens sometimes the cost to repair can be up there with the cost of the item. Paying $40 to protect my Apple product for a year is a win-win

    The Geek Squad has a team of extremely knowledgeable staff who are also good with normal people who do not know all of the "tech language" of today. They talk with you to determine/assess your needs/problem and are then able to fix it! Also extremely "people friendly" in the process! A good experience overall!

    Because of this insurance is the reason why I get most of my stuff from Best Buy this insurance is very excellent and no hassles with filing a claim because you take it straight into Best Buy any local Best Buy or any Best Buy you want to go to and they will take care of you

    Protecting an expensive investment is always key. Geek squad is pretty good at fixing issues though they take a long time and tend to send your item out than fix it in house. If they send it out your best bet is to buy a loaner pc and return it after lol cause man does it take awhile.

    The extended warranty and service offered by Bestbuy has saved me on more than one occasion. If it can’t be fixed, you get a replacement or your money back.

    I exchanged my laptop, after one month, because it overheated in sleep mode. Geek Squad was great to get me another at the store that day. They’ve installed my stuff and been there on the phone for me. Love them. Recommend them

    Geek squad is the best. Makes me comfortable when my son carries his laptop back-and-forth from his apartment to college. If anything ever happens, no matter what it is with the accidental damage plan. They take care of it. Takes the worry off of having to buy a new one during the plan coverage

    When they come out to the house they are so informative! I've trusted Geek squad for a lot of years now. It was unfortunate that I had to use Geek squad in Canada. Canadian Geek Squad are so nice and quick. I had to pay full price. The Canadians told me that most of their States customers get the US geek squad to cover the cost. Well I didn't get it covered and the US geek squad were rude.

    When BB was open they helped with my Dell lap top. However I have problems with chrome book and now have to wait til store reopens. Can’t get any one from store on phone for help AND can’t get geek squad person on phone for help. I’m not computer savy n need help taking parental control off chrome book

    I bought this plan for my HP laptop. Just 3 months later my touch screen was damaged beyond repair. The Geek Squad protection plan provided me a gift card in the amount of the purchase price to buy a replacement laptop! Yes, I bought another Protection Plan for my new laptop.

    Amazing computer, works great after 4 months still feels brand new! I mostly use it to play video games but it’s also great to stream and watch videos
