I usually get the geek protection because I have had electronics go bad and when I didn't buy, it has been a huge problem. This is piece of mind especially as a student.

It is like any other insurance. You hate paying for it; hope you never need it; happy that you have it if you do need it

If you are buying any type of computer definitely spend the extra money for geek squad protection plan. They are extremely knowledgeable and great customer service.

it's expensive compared to other places with warranty but if it's bad, you do get the money back in credit though
