I recommend this if your buying for a child because they are accident prone. My daughter got a tablet for Christmas, two days later it was cracked because she left it on thr floor and the dog walked across it. Best Buy replaced it no questions asked.

I had to return my first purchase of the i7 Surface Pro 4, and while we were talking, the Geek Squad fellow told me that if you don't buy Geek Squad for any other product, buy it for this one because if it breaks, there is nothing that Geek Squad can do to fix it, you will just get a "like-new" one from Microsoft. Very happy with the purchase, and very worth it to spend the extra cash to guarantee my device for an extra 1 year.

I have purchased several of the Microsoft Surface Pros. There are some things that others have stock, but I'm doing it works great for the drafting. I want to be able to track my surface with exact GPS.

I’ve never really had anything broken just yet to where they would have to fix it. But, on the other hand. There was a time where I would purchase something and if it stopped working or wasn’t charging like it’s suppose to. It would get exchanged out no questions asked.
