    The person I bought it for I gave it to them for Christmas for a present the laptop this service was added on to it I didn't know we were never let know by email that it was about to expire the laptop we bought and put it on has never work since we used it once Christmas week picked it up a year later we've never been able to get it to work since person I gave it to was sick I called Geek Squad tried to get it fixed are like tough tell if you missed out nothing you can do I looked it up apparently it's a common battery issue with this machine it's the Surface Pro 4 so yeah no sympathy with those guys

    Doesn't cove software issues such as it not finishing updates. needing to uninstall and reinstall operating system to fix.

    Finally had to use the accidnetal protection I purchsed on a tablet and ended up having to ship it in for repairs. Repair could not be completed but no one contacted me about this nor was a new one shipped to me like I exspected. I had to go through 3 people and 2 disconnecttions (where no one called me back) to find out I had to now drive 2 hours to pick up a replacement. I finally got my issue resolved by calling my cloest store but this whole process of getting my tablet replaced took over a month :(

    whats the point of having protection plan if I then get charged for missing accessory fee? between protection plan and the fee I might as well buy this product all over again that its protecting and not get the protection plan to begin with.

    Up sold a warranty on a product that already had the same warranty. Canceled same day still haven't received a refund..checked again two weeks later by chat and was interrupted and the chat was bugged and couldn't scroll to information i needed to see...i freaking joke.

    Purchased plan and tablet over $80, took tablet in for service, they told me over a week and half ago i would only get a refund for tablet, 59.99 plus tax, still no word on refund, should get a portion of plan since it was such a short time after purchase. When you call the store you are on hold for a very long time

    They are okay when they are needed. They also need to be mindful that most all customers Are not as techy as they are so speak in our language

    Decent value if you’re paranoid

    I know the kindle is expensive, but all of ours have always worked without issue. I feel like if it makes it over a year (manufacturer’s warranty), you could probably go without the added warranty. I guess it’s all about risk mitigation.

    Purchase to cover my tablet, apparently only covered tablet itself and not the keyboard that came with it? Makes sense, not

    Lost the policy when I exchanged 7in for the 8 in

    The saleslady told me company policy would not transfer my policy or REFUND my money so I paid $24.99 for 13Days only of coverage before I exchanged the defunct 7 in kindle it would lose battery life within 2hours and get overheated quickly. I had purchased the policy in good faith.I'll NEVER BUY ANOTHER POLICY.

    Device sent for repair on February 28th. 48 days later, no updates. No-one called nor sent a text. BTW, that is just for a screen replacement.

    Bought computer was told about geeksquad assumed included damage computer breaks am told damage insurance was extra n i didnt have would have paid extra if there had been clarification on diiferent versions lost money

That’s why we offer Geek Squad Protection with accidental damage from handling coverage. If you have both a standard and accidental plan, please head back in to the store where you should be able to cancel one of them for a pro-rated refund.

    2 weeks for simple repair

    Not told before buying that repairs are 3 weeks minimum (per Geek tech) & unit is shipped out for repairs. I cannot recommend this at this point.

    I cancel my protection 3 days after I purchased it. On both of my tablets.Was confirm it was cancel 7-10 days receive refund. After the 8 day I called. Was told by a supervisor it still processing not sure why? It will be another 7-10 days to receive my refund. Unsatisfied Customer!!!!!

    I was told the location I made the purchase cannot repair and I was told my only options were to travel two hours to the nearest Best Buy with Geek Squad that repairs or pay full price for a replacement. The only problem was the battery died.
