The Geek Squad product protection plan is a huge value when purchasing products that have a useful life of just a few years.

Although I started not to purchase this protection assuming you would not experience problems within a short period of time after purchase, I was cautioned by a friend who did experience a problem. Therefore, the additional costs is worth the purchase, just in case!

Chose to purchase this based on the use the item we purchased was going to be used. Better safe than sorry.

With electronics failing everyday it pays to insure your purchases. I have not had to use this service of yet but I am covered for 2 years no matter what they say. Hopefully will not need to use but spending almost 200 dollars for a wireless modem capable of handling our needs I felt no choice but to pay for this insurance
