For a fraction of the cost of the product, getting the Geek Squad protection makes sense to me. I am hopeful I will not need to use it but the cost was a wash after the on sale discount I received for the router.

Worth it my TV failed and they fixed it fast and without having any problems with it at all.. Still not convinced you need this wait till something breaks

I got this geek squad product replacement because the first wifi extender stopped working 1 and half year after installation. Better to be safe than sorry.
