I actually would have forgotten to ask had he not asked me if I wanted Geek Squad and I had no idea it would be that inexpensive!

I suppose the warranty is great if you actually use it. Quality items tend to outlast the extended warranty and just make it a waste of money. I suppose it would be worth it if you can't afford to replace the item.
