Hue Lights are expensive and this is a colored one so we decided to get the warranty. Lights are super delicate.

At check out while buying extra bulbs, I was asked if I want to purchase an extended warranty on bulb. Having read people had Lights fail, I went ahead wit the purchase. Don't really regret extended warranty, I guess it is peace of mind.

This is a very good program. But almost like anything else it is only a great value if you really need it. Gives you a piece of mind for 2 years and the service is great if you really use it.
