Get it for any thing but especially drones. Worth it.

I bought a DJI Mini3 Pro and bought this protection package . The first week, I crashed the drone and it was damaged beyond repair. When I bought the insurance, I was under the impression that it was a continuous policy like a vehicle. They replaced my drone but it cost me another $300 which I found to be totally unsatisfactory.

This is really great knowing I’ve got insurance if something happens!

They lied about what was covered for my drone purchase. DJI protection plan includes 2 flyaways a year. When I bought the protection plan I informed them about what DJI offered. They informed me that their pp covered fly always too. So since I’ve was there I purchased the Best Buy pp. 45 flight later the drone did just that. With a new battery installed it took off but stopped responding the the controller. Dove into the middle of the lake and was gone forever. Contacted geek squad and they refused to replace it bc apparently they don’t cover flay always! What!!! That’s the only reason I bought it from Best Buy! I shop for all my appliances and electronics from bb but will not be shopping there again.

It’s better then dealing with DJI for repairs, but not as good as DJI’s own program since it doesn’t cover flyaways or general loss like they do.

Not only did they take back the drone, they took back the $100 that I got from a “GIFT” card voided my warranty and gave me back a refund, but like I said they voided the warranty and took the $100 back that they originally “gave” me. So basically I lost nearly $500 out of the transaction, sure I got a refund for the drone, but I was suppose to have it replaced, not given back partial of my money, the drone still flew there was just a problem with the gimbal, which I believe could’ve probably been fixed and probably will be fixed and resold.

I paid 399 for that extended plan and I was told it was returned in full four different times. I was finally able to get into my account and see they only credited me 12.00!!!! I demand you fix this and get me the full refund as promised or I will file a complaint and contest this at my bank and file a complaint with BBB.

Once you use once for whatever malfunction happens. You will have to buy another protection plan.

It’s a scam don’t buy it .. I promise u they well make u mad at the end of the day

Expensive but its a very expensive purchase that can break.

Haven't needed to use it, but am a fan of the queen squad!
