    Sneaky trade-in program with double charges Avoid!

    I signed up for phone protection, but when it transferred to Verizon, everything moved except for the insurance. I spent 2 years paying Best Buy and Verizon, Verizon said it's Best Buy's fault, no one will issue refund. Also, they never honored my trade-in.

    Bad Buy

    I purchased the Geek Squad protection plan along with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and instead of monthly payments I decided to pay the full ~$200. My screen starts flickering non-stop, I'd like to take advantage of my protection plan, so I call BB to get it figured out. They tell me that they are unable to repair my phone because of COVID-19, but that they can replace it for a service fee of ~$200. Why did I bother paying for a service that is unavailable, and why am I being charged the same price to replace my phone? I don't want a new phone, I want mine repaired. I will never purchase another phone, or "protection plan" through Best Buy again.

    Good 'ol bait and switch

    Was told that if I cracked my screen it would be taken care of and when I ended up needing it to be fixed they told me they don't work on Google phones so they would have to charge me. Wouldn't have gotten the plan for the phone if they can't work on the phone I got it for.
