    IF you're the type of person who is always dropping your phone or damaging it; this is for you. One of my phones buttons got stuck and wouldn't work. I took it back to BestBuy and they replaced it with an newer model since the one I had was discontinued. Also, because the price of the newer replacement phone cost less than what I paid for the damaged phone, BestBuy refunded my the difference. Fantastic

    Very Quick and Technical Best Buy store GEEK SQUAD Professionals. I am very delighted they came over ON TIME and they were very JOVIAL and Friendly and answered all Questions thrown at them while they INSTALLED & SET UP my SONY BRAVIA XR 55" OLED TV !!!

    Agents have always been prompt, courteous, and very helpful. There has been a couple of exceptions concerning my lost or stolen phone coverage, so I recommend when purchasing a phone asking repeatedly whether lost or stolen is covered.

    I have not had to use MY Geek Squad protection plan, thankfully. But I knew it was worth having just incase, especially with 4 kids who like to play with my phone when Im not looking. But my husband got the same protection plan and he did need to use his, one week after buying the phone. It was hassle free, easy return and exchange for a new phone, not a refurbished phone. We did have to wait 2 business days for him to get a new phone delivered to him via UPS but not a problem.

    Geek Squad has been the best protection anyone can get. I have tried other electronic protection from other companies and they always gave me a hard time when it gets to claims. Geek Squad takes care of you as soon as you place a claim. I do always recommend Geek Squad as it'll become helpful in the long run.

    This has to be one of the best protection plans. Geeksquad always takes care of your device. Service is usually fast and professional. I still recommend that you check your product before you leave the store and make sure the service is done right. I highly recommend Geeksquad protection, accidents happens as life happens.

    The Geek Squad is there to help you when your electronics break or if you're like me and I lost my phone they can replace it as long as you have the extended warranty always get the extended warranty it's a great thing to have because they are very attentive to you highly recommend

    Kinks in geek squad refurbishment

    I purchased the Android a25 in January. It was a geek squad refurbished phone. There are several kinks that aggravate and concern me. First of all the volume button intermittently appears on the screen while playing games and searching the web and turns itself up I had to go all the way into the settings to make the volume quit going up by itself and popping up on the screen also when the phone is asleep and it rings there is no way to answer it it doesn't turn on and it doesn't show you the phone app so that you can push the button also when powering down when I turn it back on it turns on to the DOS screen and forces me to do a system reboot.

    I mean, if you don't want to pay the full amount upfront and want to finance your plan, go ahead! I recommend the latter because you save money, HOWEVER, I think paying monthly ensures your protection a bit longer which is worth the investment.

    The 2-yr phone coverage apparently works different if you have a Samsung phone vs. any other manufacturer. I dropped my phone and the screen when black. First of all, this coverage contract is for replacement only, not repair. Second, the geek squad rep said if I had a different make of phone (other than Samsung), they could have given me a Best Buy credit for the original price so I could buy a different phone, and my contract would end. But because it's a Samsung, they have to order a replacement (rebuilt) phone for me which I should get in the mail in a couple days, after which, I will need to ship the old phone back. I'm now without a phone waiting for the replacement to arrive, and there's no way to track the shipment because it just says "purchase at store". Not what I would call helpful. Maybe this is the way it's written up, and maybe there's some fine print somewhere that I can't find, but I give Best Buy a failing grade for transparency. I suppose I probably would have still bought the contract had I known these things ahead of time, but I would have liked to be informed about how it really worked. I would rather have a sales person who is trained in product knowledge and customer education, than one who is more focused on making the sale. Hopefully, my replacement phone will arrive soon.

    Always the best choice to purchase with a new product and best uy continues to respect the fact accidents happen and the purpose extra coverages are purchased.ne er had problem if Had to utilize the insurance coverage.they always replaced product.

    They didn’t come out to my house to help but I spoke with them and they took care of every single question I had. They even had answers to those questions that makes you sound like you just woke up after being in a coma for the last 50 years and have no idea how this new stuff works. That geek squad was so Patient and answered everyone of my questions.

    More and more big name insurance companies don't cover lost or stolen cell phones anymore. Allstate didn't, State farm doesn't (if it's not stolen from your home). They have these other companies that just insurance cell phones. It's like $15 a month. Geek squad was the better deal, most convenient at the time so I said lefts do it fool! Trying to get robbed tonight!
