I would recommend purchasing the Geek Squad warranty most of the time. Computer related products do not usually last 2 years. I would recommend you review the items purchased as you get near the expiration date.

The Best Buy Geek Squad has always been very quick and helpful with whatever technical issues I am having with my devices. They know that having our devices back in a timely manner and in original working order is important to get our business back on track.

My Oculus died a little over a week after purchase. Unfortunately Best Buy was out of stock at the time, but Oculus was going to take 1-2 months for me to get a replacement. A few days later I was able to get my replacement because of the extended warranty. My 2nd Oculus then died again about a week after that, so again just the convenience of not having to deal with Oculus support and being able to walk into a Best Buy and get a replacement is well worth the cost of the warranty

My second geek squad purchase. This time I bought it for my oculus quest. I am passing it to my 13 year old. So it’s a must. In case he damages it, it’s $110 for 2 years, compared to $500 for the headset. Peace of mind is priceless. I hope I don’t use it, but if I do... don’t let me down Best Buy! lol

We unfortunately had to use this warranty once for the oculus two. We went in store and it was a quick process using our warranty. They keep it on file so don’t forget the phone number you used.
