    Certain stores can only do certain things, there are extra costs associated with those certain things. I got sent on a wild goose chase and charged deductibles for something that was supposedly covered. Just save the 200 bucks on this and put it towards a new phone or independent repair.

    They lied to me about the warranty for my phone purchase. They advised that there would be no additional cost if the phone was not repairable. Yet when I got to the store they told me that I had to pay a 90.00 fee for my phone replacement for my Motorola device. By the time you factor in the cost plus the warranty you are almost always paying slightly more than you would have had you just purchased two new unlocked devices. Knowing that unless the device is extremely expensive the warranty is not worth it!

    They could of let me know when my plan was over I thought that I was still paying insurance for my phone.

    i wouldn't exactly reccomend this service at all. for most repairs you're still charged a hefty amount as they consider it a "Service fee" when i was told by online support that it should be free since I'm paying for this monthly protection service. however, when i arrive at the store to try and find that out it wasn't the case. save yourself the money and if you break your device just buy a new one.

    The salesperson told us that it covered everything. When we went to use for a lost phone. It wasn't covered. Never buy devices.

    It feels that I wasted my money to bought extra warranty frm geeksquad for my Samsung Galaxy Note 9. My note’s pen got broke and half of the pen stuck inside the phone. I took it to Geeksquad, and they never support me in that, they asked me to take it Samsung Support or YouBreakIFix. I had to pay extra frm my pocket to get it fixed. I will never buy extra GeekSquad warranty.

    I paid for the 2 year service. When I cracked my screen and I called BestBuy to find out how to get support they said they had no record of me having a warranty. I ended up going to UBreakIFix and paying over three hundred dollars out of pocket to repair. They just took my money and forgot about me.

    I wouldn't buy another item with Geek Squad protection. I checked into getting a refund after no using it as it was supposed to be prorated. Well with only 1 year of 2 used, I only was offered 25% back. I asked why, they wouldn't say. Just that the computer is telling them it's x amount (25% of what I paid).

    Honestly, it's not worth buying a protection plan for your phone. I cracked my phone screen and brought it back to Best Buy to use the protection plan. I was still within my 1 year protection period and they still asked me to pay $109 to repair it. Then why did I even pay for the protection plan, when I can just take it to any repair shop and probably pay cheaper to fix it.

    worst best buy purchase ever... My all-glass phone started cracking immediately even in the protective case. now geek squad wants $200 to repair the glass on it...WHAT!! Give me my money back if you want a satisfied customer! I've been purchasing for years and probably bought thousand of dollars worth of merchandise. pieces of glass falling into my food? Who decided to make all glass cell phones anyway? If the salesman had informed me I would not have made the purchase and certainly would not have purchased the protection plan had I known the repair would still be nearly as much as the phone cost in the first place! I think Best Buy needs to reconsider this. I may have to throw my BestBuy card away and get someone elses after this.

    Additional costs not worth it and in store service is minimal. It's the basic troubleshooting that we all do if u have a basic understanding of technology.

    Walked int the store for help with my phone. First question "do you have an appointment?" . Guess next time I'll schedule my glitch before I come in.

    Very Poor service. I paid the full amount of the protection plan. Geek squad charges to much for what they call protection. I paid 50% of my cell phone value , Just to replaced it as it had broken screen. I will not recommend Geek squad to any one.

    Before you get this keep in mind when something breaks you have a hefty payment which they dont mention when you but it to fix it, and most are really rude.
