    Not happy with Geek Squad's customer service

    Recently my Samsung Note 10 screen cracked even though I had a screen protector. I went to Best Buy to get the phone repaired. The Geek Squad wasn't any help. I ended up having to use my Assurance insurance with a $200 charge (deduct.). The Geek Squad had no one available in the store to even talk to me. I would have had to make an appointment & I did not have the time.

    Buying insurance on a phone is expensive.

    I thought it was overpriced and there was a deductable, so I chose to not get it after all.

    Bought 2 phones but no longer supports samsung phones .. wasted $400+ was not given a notice or refund for my proction plan

    I purchased because it is a very expensive phone, Samsung offers similar protection a lower price, only problem is you have to send the phone to them for repairs.

    I purchased this protection plan because I was told that they would repair or replace my device if I accidentally break it. What they didn’t mention was that I would end up paying $120 to replace the phone, and that the replacement is a used device. I paid $170 for this phone when it was brand new— why would I pay $120 for a used replacement when I could BUY a BRAND NEW DEVICE for less?? Absolute rip off.

    Gotta say, it kind of sucks. You'll have to make a claim & than you'll have to pay 250 bucks, but I guess that can get you a new phone

    Purchased the 2 year plan but was unable to use to repair or fix any battery issues or screen cracks without paying an additional fee. It would be cheaper to get it fixed than to have this protection plan + all the extra fees.

    I got both warranties from geek squad.went to best but December 18,2021.My phone fell off the car got messed up .they charged me 199.99. So they can send me another phone.That money i paid for the warranties should've covered that.When i pay my phone off .

    I added this to a phone I bought in store, I ended up returning the phone July 2022 and they told me I was gonna get a refund check for the coverage cause that's what their computer screen is telling them but I still haven't received that $219.99 plus tax yet.

    They won't honor their replacement warranty unless you give them a credit card. I don't have credit cards, I pay cash.

    Poor service. Went in for a service to repair my phone to find out the 200 service fee is more than the phone. Parts are 70 bux i will just fix it myself. I will never buy a phone protection plan again from best buy. Also the plan qhen i bought it said nothing about any fees at all

    Was not properly informed how this insurance worked. I bought a s20 ultra, bought the insurance at $200, phone broke a month after and went to try to fix it. Since they required a phone replacement they said it would be a deductible of $199. So basically 400 bucks to get this fixed lololol after looking into different insurances I realized I would've gotten the same service at squaretrade and cheaper.

    Don't waste your money on cell phones! The deductible is High, they make you show up in person to order a replacement even when on the phone they tell you they are going to replace it, but it needs to be done through a local store. You can call the local store to get it processed, except the local stores don't answer their phones (why do they have them?) They make it as inconvinient as possible and charge you a higher deductible than a plan from a phone carrier

    Refused to let me use it because "no samsung repairs are available right now". My other option was paying ANOTHER $200 for a refurbished replacement. Asked for a refund since they will NOT allow me to use the service I paid for and they stole almost $70 from me because it wasn't in the first 30 days even though I never used the service and when I tried they wouldn't let me. Therefore this plan is just theft of my money. I will NEVER buy a geeksquad plan again.

    Trash service, not worth the headache. Lotsa hidden terms they never mention. Just pretend like you need help with a claim, and listen to the mile of excuses and poor service.

    When you buy the warranty, they tell you have the choice between phone replacement or credit of the total of your purcahse toard to a new phone. Never mentioned about $250.00 dollars fee to replace your phone. DON'T BUY IT. This is scam...

    Broke my phone that I bought this plan for, they replaced the phone and two weeks later the screen broke again(cheap BLU phone) went to get that fixed and they said the plan was canceled after they replaced it the first time, So it is just a 1 year warranty you can use once in that year.

    It doesn't cover anything like I was told. My phone stopped working I paid $200 for the plan and they wanted $200 more to fix/replace it which isn't even as much as what they would pay me for it if it's working

    Im a samsung user for life...decided to try this out had to return it. The phone is missing way to many simple functions let alone what im used to having at my fingertips. Im bug into technology and i need to be able to add extras and with this ypu can not.
