    WASTE of money. I have had a tech issue with the phone but this one year warranty doesn't cover technical issues, only if I damage the thing will they do anything. If they did send in the replacement request it would cost me $90 fee for their time and processing.

    Well, I'm not to proud. Our phone fell an broke the screen an ect. Yes, we had extra protection on it, even on the case. It cost over $200. Out of our pocket, plus not even looking at it. It took over 3 weeks and ect. Now why did we pay for this insurance????

    When phone screen was damaged . I was advised that this coverage doesn’t cover phone damage . Which was the purpose for the purchase to begin with . At least that’s what I was advised at purchase. Need to read print next time.

    In this particular instance, this product does not exist. Im in the process of trying to get a replacement phone through this protection but the store and phone associate Im speaking with that just hung the phone up on me, states that I dont have said protection. Im looking at my history showing I purchased it and they are saying I didnt. Therefore are not going to replace a phone that just powered down and stopped working. Smh

    Horrible purchase, I was under the impression that this was a full warranty only to find out the only thing covered was broken screen. It seems that Best Buy is getting out of the phone warranty business but failed to let the customers in on the decision.

    Very complex process. If you use the protection to fix your phone, you still have to pay the same amounts in repairs that an independent phone shop would charge to fix your phone. Read carefully what the protection plan covers.

    $170 Protection + $200 to USE Warranty

    I went to turn in my device to fulfill the warranty protection, and they are trying to charge me $200 to USE the warranty. That's a scam, that's not "putting my worries at ease"

    I spent months paying for a service that I never got to use when I needed, went to a store to get help, lines were so long, left info for someone to call me back, that never happened

    Accidental protection just means that for $200, if your phone gets damaged in anyway, you can spend an additional $200 to get it replaced. You can get phone insurance for MUCH cheaper basically anywhere else you go. Absolutely would not recommend.

    Bought because I'm famous for breaking phone screens and I knew replacement parts wouldn't be easy to find for a Sony phone. But service was $170 and on top of that a screen repair would cost another$200+. There's just no way it would cost me almost $400 out of pocket.

    They might want to help you but they really don't. If you got the money to pay them they will try too help. They were unable to help me with a broken glass on phone. Still trying to get this problem solved.

    Still have to pay to get screen fixed! A warranty should cover you & it doesnt. At least you dont have to buy a new phone.

    It's a scam don't bother with this. We had to use it and it was $169 to get the coverage then it was $199 to use the coverage. It's 0 stars, not 1 star but I had to give it some rating.

    Worst protection ever paid extra money just to have to pay more once I needed my phone fixed very upset!! Why am I going to be paying a protection plan and then have to pay another fee to get my phone fixed. This is the worst experiance ever

    Last phone I had no issue getting a replacement there was no fee so when buying a much more expensive one i spent all monst 200 on the protection plan just to be told they cant repair my screen so have them send it off and not have a phone for months or spent 200 to have a replacement sent. Will not be coming back to best buy

    I was sold on a service that was based off of a lie. The information that was provided at the time of purchases is completely different from when I actually attempted to file a claim. I would not consider using Geek Squad coverage under no circumstances except one which is if I like to be lied too.
