    Great multimedia device, Terrible phone

    This phone does most things very well. But, as a phone it is terrible. The virtual proximity sensor is slow to turn off the screen and it enables the screen if you move at all. So its easy to hand up, put the person on hold, start a RTT call, launch other apps with your EAR. The touchscreen is also goofy and I get a lot of ghost taps that throw off texting. Lots of misspelled words, lots of extra spaces in between words. As a communication device, the S20 FE fails. The cpu is fast and apps fly. The camera is mid-range taking some good pics and some bad. But in no way is this a flagship device. The fingerprint scanner often requires multiple or very long presses, and onscreen is a goofy place. The back of the phone like prior models was much preferred.

    I got this warranty when I got my new phone and on the 18th of March I8th my screen went black after dropping it. As soon as I got home I called the warranty company and was told I would have to wait 7 business days to get a replacement phone,, So I told the agent that that was way to long to wait so I made a appointment to go to the store to see if I could get one there. They told me I had to get it through the warranty company . So I paid my 150 fee and they took my info and but in a request for a new phone. On Monday the 22nd I got a email saying they didn’t have that phone in stock and I would be getting a gift card through my email . It is now the 31stand I still haven’t received my credit . I find this absolutely unacceptable and can’t believe you would treat customers like this.. I will never again shop at Best Buy and can see why stores are closing. I called multiple times and complained but It did no good I still don’t have my new phone when I paid my 10 a month plus my 150 deposit.

    well, one or another scratch, but I'm thinking of returning it since the phone company I'm using asks me for the imei, I gave the phone's imei and it literally didn't work, a phone doesn't work for me like that, it's a good price but I think If I am going to have that problem, I don't want to think about what awaits me in the future, since the imei is important.

    Phone protection plan is a waste of money for anything other than an Apple phone. Terms stated I could get a free battery replacement, which was echoed by the salesperson. Went in to have my battery replaced since my phone is struggling to hold a charge and was told I'd need to pay a $200 service fee to have my entire phone replaced with a refurbished unit. Then I was told they could only replace batteries in iPhones and I'd have better luck going to a shop that specializes in battery replacements or just buy a new phone. Waste of money.

    Geek Squad failing.

    What good is the major appliance coverage when you have to wait TWO WEEKS at the earliest for a tech to come to assess and repair your issue. That’s correct my two year old refrigerator is in need of repair for a cooling issue and Geek Squad can’t respond to me two weeks. No refrigeration for two weeks and lose all my food. Thanks Geek Squad, you have a great service that I am paying to have in times of need.
