Paid extra for the 2-year Accidental Geek Squad Protection, but when I took my damaged phone to them the Geek Squad representative said they were unable to repair Google Pixel 6 Pro phones. Only option was to replace the phone, but that would cost a $199 replacement fee. Best Buy is selling $200+ Geek Squad protection plans for phones knowing they can't fix them and that you'll just end up paying the extra money on top of the plan when you desperately need a working phone. Geek Squad either needs to learn to fix Google phones or Best Buy should stop selling protection plans when they can't honor them. Please don't buy the additional protection coverage for phones they don't work on or can't fix!

Haven't used. Thought i only signed up for a warranty if something happen.. the worker appearently signed me up for 2 protection plans..

Must be careful to read the fine prints behind every warranty because every warranty does not cover everything. And make sure to know exactly what you are paying for. My phone screen cracked and I believe that I would get a replacement with no problem but it turned out that this protection coverage did not cover cracks and so I had a responsibility to pay a deductible which I did not have the money to pay. I wanted to canceling the protection altogether.

This protects my phone with water damage or other accidental damage.

None of my issues were covered in this plan. So I have never used their services.

Last geek squad protection I buy. Spent $1200 for new phone. Plus $200-300 for the protection. I only got $700+ store credit when my phone stopped working. Geek squad said they're were unable to fix it or replace it. At least I got some money back IG...

Perfect protection plan for your expensive purchase

I was told i would not need to pay a deductible and that was not true. However the exchange was not bad.

When I purchased my phone I was offered the total protection, since the phone costs over $1,300. I said okay, later looking at the receipt apparently it's a bundle dropping off the price over $80, but still they charge back the same amount on the receipt, for the total of $219. Next day I went to complain about honoring the bundle. They told me that it doesn't work that way, the amount is split, for others reasons, I cancel the protection.

Asking for a product review on recently purchased insurance is like having boobs on a bull, pointless.

Haveng had as anything go wrong with my phone yet so I don't know how they will work for me HOWEVER the gentlemen at the store were helpful and polite when setting me up.

Very good strong for Samsung and working good easy for clean

Sometimes the problem with my phone can't be readily fixed and requires a refurbished trade off from some third party. Definitely sucks.

When I bought this plan, I didn't know my crummy Google Pixel 3a had a charge with it to replace it. I should have stuck to a Samsung phone.
