Be sure to ask questions, as you'll learn the sales associates do not disclose the limitations of that you will be required to pay at least 70 or more dollars to have your item serviced. Cracked screens on the phone are not covered... regardless how many times you ask the associate, " cracked/ destroyed screens are covered, also in the event of a significant drop?". The associate will say, "Absolutely!". Service department will say, " Nope, not covered." Appears Best Buy should adequately train their associates, and retain and management spot check associate transactions, to ensure they are disclosing pertinent information and communicating accurate service. In more disgusted with the vague manner in which they want you to pay $180 to cover a device without being honest about service. It looks bad for the company, when honesty and respect is not part of their business practice. Appears Shady!

The biggest scam. I've been told by one of their associates that it will provide coverage at no cost for me if anything happens to the phone. so I paid over $130, and when the phone broke, they said oh no you still have to pay $200 almost half the price when I first purchased it. If i didn't pay the coverage, buying the tools and the parts should much would've cost me $129 getting the original parts.

Its best to buy Geek Squad protection on any electrical device.

Currently we haven't had to utilize our Geek Squad so he hard to evaluate the value.
