I bought their insurance for my printer...only because of their great reputation. I don't expect to need them, but I like knowing I have bought from pros, in their field.

What is not to love about Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection Plans?!? They are reasonably priced and allow you to return the defective merchandise directly to their store to be fixed or replaced. Another giant retail competitor offers warranties on some of their products but it is an absolute nightmare to have anything repaired and forget about getting it replaced. If you want to be guaranteed that a defective product will be fixed or replaced you should go directly to Best Buy and make sure you purchase the protection plan!

Everything "tech" is hit or miss nowadays. Our present situation does not appear to be resolving anytime soon. We will ALWAYS purchase the "4-year Geek Squad Product Replacement" service. So important today, especially for those on a fixed income.

The Geek Squad tech added storage and ram to my new desktop and taught me how to access the additional drive. They improved the usefulness of my computer. I appreciated their help.

I buy the extended warranty whenever I can. It is my experience that what can go wrong WILL. I find the value of this insurance brings me peace of mind to know I will get my dollar's worth! \ The professionalism of the Geek Squad staff, makes me rest assured that our electronics have a long life ahead of them to do all of our technology work.

I like the Geek Squad service. I brought it for my printer. I replaced my printer two times in two year without paying anything extra. (Other than Geek Squad Service Fee). And replacement was really smooth. Best buy customer care person just replaced my printer without any question. Only thing I feel is, it is costly for some products. My printer Price : $90 Geek Squad Service Fee: $25 (For two years)

Best option to have for printers as they always fail after the usual warranty period.

I bought a brand-new computer online but, I brought it directly to Best Buy and had the "Geek Squad" open it up, remove bloatware, (junk apps), Updated all drivers and Load up my security software. I took it home plugged it in and it is Super Fast and Eazy to Navigate. I had one issue with internet explorer and ONE Phone Call To GEEK SQUAD, They went in remotely fixed issue (15 minutes) DONE .. Buy the Geek Squad Protection Program.. You will agree .. Its Well Worth the investment.. Thanks Best Buy Boise Idaho

One of the best choices. Geek squad staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and don’t treat you like your stupid. Always willing to help and answer any questions you may have and will help you make the best choice and decision.

As we know, printers are not easy to operate. And it is easy for various problems to arise. Therefore, it is worthwhile to buy this after-sales service.

I made this TV purchased after My last Tv broke. I had it about 11 months and lost the picture. I had it fixed under the manufacture warranty. Less than a year later, I lost the picture again, and did not have any warranty on it. Cause me over $600.00 to get it fixed. Less then a year later, lost the picture again. I got a new tv with a 2 year warranty so that I will not go though this again.

I would definitely recommend Geek Squad service for printers or any items then allow to get these cloud services it's good for and also the price is just right from from my printer and I would I would recommend it I would get it again as well

I have been buying a lot of my tech through Best Buy solely for the fact that the replacement plan/damage plans are AMAZING. I have never had an issue with returning a faulty or broken product under it's plan. Even in instances where records were not showing for one of my devices, the employees at Best Buy dug into their database to find I had my name in twice! They were able to determine I DID have coverage and still assist me. These plans are some of the only coverage plans out there that are SINCERELY WORTH IT.

Haven’t needed to use the geek squad service but it is of great comfort to know I have it in my back pocket just incase

I have always ( 3X ) had success with the extended warranties when I have had a product problem that required replacement. It is always your call to determine if this is worth it.

Geek squad has fixed a few of my electronics in a timely manner

Always get this option with our purchases, just never got the longer plan. So my advice is go for the longer one as issues seem to crop just beyond the shorter one. :)

So glad I purchased the extended Geek Squad warranty. I use my printer everyday for work and cannot be without. When it stopped working I was able to take the printer in and exchange it for a new one easily the same day.

Great service - sometimes argue a lot and do only what they want to do. Some are good and suggest what is best for you - but the supervisory staff argue! The squad then have to follow their instruction overriding our request!
