I always buy the protection plans. Best Buy makes it easy by either swapping the device out in store or sending it to their service center. On large items (appliances and TVs) they will often come to your home and either fix or replace the item.

If you have a high dollar purchase from Best Buy , the Geek Squad's protection plan is for you : ) ; in the long run , it will save you a lot of money and frustration ; always get the longest plan you can afford for your high dollar purchases

We always purchase the 2-year Geek Squad Product Replacement from Best Buy. Geek Squad is so very knowledgeable and helpful when and if we need to see them.

This replacement warranty is very inexpensive and covers my earpiece headphones for 2 years. It is a no hassle complete replacement which covers any defects in the original product that should come up. Definitely worth the modest price it cost.

I purchased this to extend the replacement warranty on my fire tv stick, after I had my old fire tv stick went out and it was past its warranty period that comes with it. I am glad that I had purchase the additional coverage, Best Buy replaced with a new one without any problems or issues.

Usually I shy away from protection plans but for what Best Buy charged for this and the one on my iHome speaker hoe could I not buy it. It's simple. You buy the plan, object breaks, they replace it; object outlives the plan, you're still ahead because of the peace of mind during the warranty years.

Why take a chance on anything electronic? Geek Squad protection is GREAT coverage of any factory/robotic/employee SLIP-UP GOOF! Geek Squad covers as much or as little as you want. The price is well worth the comfort knowing any "wrong" happening would be covered during the term of the protection plan!

You need geek squad product protection! electronics don't last long as something happens to them all the time. But if you get the 2 year geek squad product replacement, they will fix it or replace you product free of the same value if you get their plan.

I purchased this warranty because I keep the base in my home office and the other in the basement and have had problems in the past with the second phone in another area in the house lasting as good as the answering machine does.

I purchased this warranty for peace of mind. Many products just are NOT made to last, so adding this protection just makes sense.

This is nice to have for any new product purchased. With the Geek Squad protection, anytime there's a problem with the item purchased, Geek Squad will repair it free of charge. If the item can't be repaired, the product will be replaced free to charge.

I have only had to use my Geek Squad protection twice. The first time was just a few months ago for a TV that was a 50". The second time was today for a 40". My 50" TV was replaced with no hassle. I'm waiting to see what will happen with my 40" TV. The staff have been very helpful.

Good idea in case of accidents or faulty equipment. Tends to be easier in most cases then dealing with a manufacturer when you can simply get ti replaced in store. Price of the plan is determined by the price band of the product. Some of the banding for middle priced items can make it seem not worth it.

No issues with replacements when needed. This is the way a warranty should work. I had the misfortune of having 2 things break but luckily I had the geek squad protection, bring broken item to store, have them repair or replace, easy peasy.
